Albion walked into Castreils room and opened the curtains and tied them open "My Lord it's time to wake up." Albion said while getting his master's favorite outfit from the closet and laid it on the side of the bed.
Castreil groaned "five more minutes Albion." He said softly
"But my lord today is a very special day you must get ready for it." He said softly stirring the tea he got for his master which was his favorite tea.
"What are you on about Albion? Today is just like any other." Castreil said yawning.
"That's where you'll be wrong my lord. " Albion said giving Castreil the tea. Castreil began to drink. "You see young master today is your birthday." He said smiling
Castreil spit out the tea in his mouth"What?! Already?!" He yelled
"Yes my lord what seems to be the problem?" He asked
"Albion clear my schedule for the day. I'm staying in this room the entire day and do not want to be bothered!" He said sternly.
"My lord I'm afraid that's not possible. You see your Aunt Edith already had the entire day planned out for you." Albion said. "And she won't take no for an answer. " He said
Castreil tched "of course she did." He said pouting.
"My lord if you don't mind me asking why do you dislike your birthday so much?" Albion asked while dressing Castreil.
"Everything bad that has ever happened to me as happened on my birthday. My parents and siblings were brutally murdered in a ambush I was kidnapped and used as a toy for three years till u showed up and saved me before they could kill me. My best friend that I had made over those years was bought by a pervert and I never saw him again On my birthday. My birthday is a curse to me and everyone whom I'm close to. " Castreil said "And even recently it still curses me. "the first year you were with me on my birthday after saving me the house was robbed and they killed one of my servents I was close to. The year after that the city bridge fell down killing lots of people. Then the next year many children went missing and later found dead. And year after that when I turned 16 my uncle and Nephew we're killed in a drive-by shooter incident which left aunt Edith alone. This year I'm turning 17 and can't imagine what will happen this year." Castreil said sighing softly
By now Albion finished dressing Castreil and got up. "If anything does happen my lord I'll be there to help you." He said bowing to him and slide casriels rings in their places on his slender fingers. One was a ruby stone with a 24k gold ring that was thick and full of design it was the family heirloom that all the head of the households had worn before him. Another ring was a gift from his mother when he was young and he continued to wear it it was a emerald with a silver ring. The heirloom he wore on his right hand ring finger the gift ring he wore on his left pointer finger. He grabbed his walking stick and got up.
"I'll dine in the dining room this morning Albion." Castreil said walking to the door.
Albion bowed "Yes my lord." He said and left to the kitchen he made more fresh tea still using his master's favorite then made his master's favorite breakfast and put it on a trey with a cover and put it on the cart alomg with the tea cup, tea cup plate, and tea pot. He then went to the dining room where Castreil sat reading the news paper.
Albion smiled and walked to him putting the trey Infront of him and took the cover off and set the tea cup on the plate beside it and poured the hot tea.
Castreil sipped the tea and began to eat while looking at the news paper reading
"Anything interesting in the paper this morning young master?" Albion asked.
"Unfortunately no." Castreil said putting the paper down and continued to eat "When will Lady Edith be here?" Castreil asked
"Son my lord within the next 10 minutes I'm assuming." He said
"I don't pay you for assumptions Albion I pay you for facts." Castreil said
Albion sighed and left to see where Lady Edith was then came back within 2 minutes "She'll be here in 3 minutes my lord." He said
Castreil nodded "Very well." He said finishing eating and wiped his mouth with a napkin and finished his tea. "Make sure to have tea ready for her when she gets here." He said while Albion refilled his cup.
Albion nodded and bowed "yes my lord." He said and left to prepare tea.
Castreil looked out his office window sipping the tea "Just what are you planning today Aunt Edith?" He said softly.
A few minutes later Edith entered the office "I'm Here!" She said in a singsong voice spinning around "Happy birthday to my favorite nephew!" She said running to him and hugging him "17 is a big number Castreil I Have A whole day planned!" She said happily and put a party hat on him.
'Oh boy here we go." Castreil thought.
