Chapter-8 [Whom Should I Choose?]

"I'm back"

"Took you long enough. You said you're goin to just buy a drink for yourself before leaving." Chan hyung asked as soon as i stepped inside the dorm

"Yea and where the heck are my Shrimp Flavored Chips that i asked you to bring along!?" Han shouted jumping off from the couch.

"Well umm....i met my old school friend from seoul and we ahh... went to a restaurant to talk and catch up things that's why i lost track of time....and forgot to bring those chips...." I said trying to make up the most realistic reason ever because I'm definitely not gonna tell em everything.

"Oh-okay but atleast text us beforehand, we were worried...yea?"

"Okay hyung sorry, I'll remember from now" I replied with a smile

"But my CHIPS!!!" Han dramatically cried and i just gave him a disgusting look

As I was about to move towards my room someone's voice haulted my steps

"We need to talk Hyunjin"

I turn around to find Felix standing below the stairs that lead upto the terrace. His face was helding an unexplainable expression.

"About what Lix?" I asked curiously

"Follow me to the rooftop" he muttered dryly before climbing the stairs.

I looked at others for an answer but they gave me a 'how tf would we know?' look.

Why's he acting so strange? I thought to myself before following behind.
Felix was quiet during the walk. I sat at the bench taking a yawn. I really wanted to rest asap. I thought felix would sit beside me but he went towards the terrace with his back facing me. None of us spoke a word for a minute. Getting an idea that he's just gonna stand there i stood up and went
where he was.

"So what is it?"

No response. A soft breeze caressed our faces. Feeling a little frustrated because of tiredness i broke the silence.

"Well if u ain't gonna say anything then I'm goin back. I'm already exhaus-"

"Why did u lied earlier?" Felix said out of nowhere

"Lisa definitely isn't your old school friend hyunjin." He said now facing me

Hearing it i went still. My shocked expression must be visible on my face because felix scoffed before saying

"Wondering how did i know? Well to put it, you were taking long enough and i was craving fried chicken but the delivery time was too long so i went out myself to Pierre Gagnaire private restaurant AND guess what i saw!?" Felix said sarcastically as i just looked at him blankly. Knowing I'm not going to speak a word he continued

"I saw Hwang Hyunjin Of StrayKids!!! And that to with a girl!! Omg a date! Can you believe it!?" He exclaimed sarcastically

"Felix i can explain-"

"Explain what? Yesterday you were so riled up when i told you about me and lisa being friends and warned me to stay away from her saying she's a total stranger and trouble. What happened now? Did you become a risk-taker all of a sudeen? Giggling, taking selfies, drinking, i think you had a good time huh? Pfft- you're such a hypocrite hyunjin" he said faking a smile before facing back towards the view.

He's right in his perspective because i was the one who told him all that and twisted on my own advice the next day but he didn't know that I'm changed and realised that it was wrong of me.
