As the loud bell rang Becky slowly picked her stuff up and threw it into her bag then trudged out of the class room. When Becky reached the playground she found a simple corner where no one normally goes and sat down as she sat she realised something really sharp stabbing her in the back of the thigh when she moved to see what it was, she saw a piece of glass that read "go away you don't belong here" so Becky moved and sat next to a wall where no one could see her and ate her lunch in silence. Through the silence Becky heard a sound as if someone had dropped something like a tin or something metal at least. When she looked to her left she saw nothing and she didn't see anything when she looked to her right either.
'Hmm odd' Becky thought to herself and carried on eating.
After a good five minutes she heard a scraping sound as if whoever dropped the tin was picking it up.
"H-h-h-hello...?" Becky said worried it would be another one of the mean people in her year ready with another remark.
"Hello" said a voice that sounded about the same age as Becky.
A girl appeared from the darkness.
"Hai I'm Holly" the girl said covering her mouth a little causing the sound to muffle.
"Hey I'm Becky" Becky said in return.
"Will you be my friend? I don't have many, nobody likes me..." the girl said sinking backwards into the darkness again.
"Sure" Becky said happily"what did you do for people to not like you...?" She asked.
"I'm 'a brainy box' as they say, in other words I know a bit more than them so they don't like me anymore" she said almost in tears now.
"Oh" Becky said sitting back down and bringing her knees up towards her chin.
They sat in silence until the loud bell slaughtered it.
"Will you be here next break?" Holly asked
"Yea, this can be our place now?" Becky said questionitivly
"Okay" Holly said joyfully and skipped away.
During the next lesson Becky sat there thinking about Holly and who she was and why she was hiding there and about how she might be the same as her. Becky decided that it'll be best if she concentrated then she went all smart mode and people were all judging her but didn't say anything because the knew they couldn't answer the questions so if she did then the would get out of lesson on time. Once the lesson ended Becky sprinted to the wall where she and Holly were at first break hoping no one would see her. When she got around the corner it was silent and no one was to be seen so Becky sat down and silently sat with her knees up to her chin again. After about five minutes had passed Becky started to get worried about Holly and checked the darkness for her and surprisingly she found her again hiding in the darkness but this time she was crying with a orange colored substance in her hair.
"What happened?" Becky asked.
"I-I-I-I was in the cafeteria" she stuttered, she continued "and I went to get my food and today is pasta day... lets just say the people that don't like me really hate me" she frowned while saying this.
"What did they do?" Becky asked.
"I had my pasta and I was just leaving when a foot appeared in front of me and tripped me" she answered.
"So is this pasta on you then...?" Becky asked.
"Yea when I fell the pasta went all over me so I ran out then came here to cry about it" she said as she started to cry again.
