felix came to the clear conclusion; he liked changbin. but there were many things stopping him from confessing. the number one thing being: did changbin even like boys?

alone, changbin didn't speak much as it was, but about crushes or possible love interests? he wouldn't dare. so that left felix thinking.

on one hand, he did want to tell his favorite dark haired boy, but was it really worth risking their years long relationship?

probably not.

felix felt hopeless. he truly didn't know how to go about this and it constantly made him sick in the stomach.

he wasn't a small little boy anymore. he couldn't do certain things with changbin without needing an excuse. no longer would they hold hands for the hell of it, or place soft kisses on each other's cheeks.

the prince missed that.

he was determined to make the boy feel the same way towards him. one way or another, he will find out if changbin fancied someone, and if that someone was him.

getting up from his bed, he ran to the boy's room, eager to know what he was up to. surprise, surprise, he was reading once again. felix didn't mind it though, he thought he looked very handsome when he was in concentration.

"hi, hyung," he voiced out as he closed the door behind him. changbin looked up, pushing up the glasses on his nose that were almost sliding off. felix bit his lip to prevent himself from grinning. changbin looked even more adorable with glasses on, he noted.

"your majesty," he replied. felix skipped over to where the older was reading at his desk. changbin looked to his other side, grabbing the chair that was there and sliding it over in order for felix to sit down comfortably.

felix didn't oppose to his offer. "hyunggg.." he whined. "when are you going to stop addressing me as such? you're my friend, you're allowed to call me by my name, you know?"

"hm, don't want to" the dark haired boy responded. felix rolled his eyes and placed his elbows on the surface of the desk, allowing his head to rest on his hands.

"what are you reading today?" felix eyed the book the other was reading.

"it's called crying in h-mart,"

the prince's mouth formed an o shaped as he nodded along. he sat in silence for a bit longer as he braced himself a bit.

" binnie hyung, can I ask you something?"

changbin looked up at him, hesitation written on his face. felix wasn't his usual self, he noticed.

"have you ever liked someone before?"

changbin widened his eyes, and instantly shook the feeling of shock off his face.

"um, no not really" he simple put it. felix felt himself deflat at his answer. he was hoping that maybe he did like someone, and that someone being him.

"oh. do you ever wish you liked someone?"

changbin cleared his throat, feeling the room rise in temperature as the seconds passed. "it isn't something I think about, but if it were to happen, so be it"

felix smiled at that. he stood a chance! well, he did if changbin answered the next question in the younger's favor.

"have you ever... been unsure of your sexuality?"

at this point, changbin could sense that something was going on. he believed felix was struggling a bit with figuring out his sexuality. he was ok with helping him along.

"um, i guess. i wouldn't say i'm straight, but i'm not gay either," he shrugged. felix collected all that he needed to know. he stood up and ran out the room. changbin's gaze followed him until the last second.

"hormones, i guess" he mumbled to himself before going back to reading a bit.
