Year four : 7

I can't sleep, i keep rolling over and over trying to catch sleep but it slips away,

I had a dream, it was...odd

The problem is i cannot remember what i dreamt about and i always remember my dreams, even nightmares,

I've had it for the third time today, and i can't stop feeling that it is something important,

But I've squeezed my brain out and i can't point it out,
I keep seeing a young boy with silver hair like mine having his back to me and as i walk towards him, but that's all i remember

I hear the alarm go off waking up everyone, i sit up in bed and go over to the sink washing my face with warm water and brushing my teeth,

Everyone needs to be up and ready 10 minutes after the alarm hits, a girl once didn't get up on time and was locked in her room without food or water for a full day and she wasn't allowed out till the alarm of the second day rang,

I went over to the small drawer beside my bed and pulled open the second drawer where my clothes sat neatly, we are given three pairs of clothes only,
pajamas, and two training pairs, for me it was black and green,

I dressed in my black clothes and braided my hair in a single dutch braid while i stood before the mirror in front of the sink,

My hair is getting lighter
Almost as white as vanilla ice cream,

My brother loves ice cream,
His favorite ice cream is-

Wait what IS his favorite ice cream? I swear i knew it,
He also loves broom riding on his..his..
What was his broom's name?

How can i forget these things he always talks about his broom and flying skills?

I jump slightly as i heard a big knock on my door, i look over to my watch and notice that i have only two minutes, i get my shoes on and walk out to find Ascian leaning by the door talking with another boy

"Morning sleepy head, you're usually the first one out, why are you late today?" Ascian came to me

"Nothing just took my time" i shrugged him off and walked to the dining hall

The dining hall was the most noisy room, as we are reprimanded if we speak loudly or out of order elsewhere, so here everyone talks with their friends freely and without looking over their shoulder for a mentor to shit them up

After i picked up a tray, filling it with food, i went over to my usual seat, where i sit next to Ascian and a couple of his friends,

I haven't made many friends here, it's not necessary and not as easy as it was back at my old school, so i just do what i need to do and tolerate Ascian's friends when they come over to my table,

We walk towards our training areas as each group goes to its assigned room for the day, we all are assigned groups, but as our mentors like to call them, "our own little family" each group has a leader, and in our group it's me, surprising? Not very, and the others are picked based on their skills, every one has their special skill, two are skilled in combat, two in weapons, one in healing, and the last two are complicated,
They mostly keep to themselves but they're not useless, they are picked by the leader, and I've done enough observing to know that i need them in my group,

Today we were assigned the field room, it's created to hold challenges that we need to conquer in order to reach our target and destroy it, whatever it may be.

We have been through this room twice before, and each time we never make it across before our 20 minute mark runs out, i always thought that if it were only myself that was given the task of reaching the target and not having to worry about the others i would have done so in record time, but alas it is a team challenge, and we needed to get everyone to the target safely.
