Chapter 4: New Intel

A few days went by and Teo had now gotten into a routine of doing what she usually did in the mornings. Only difference being that she was now living with a bunch of heroes. Some having superpowers ranging from shapeshifting to superspeed while others didn't yet had lots of training to make up for what they didn't have. M' Gann making her breakfast even though at times the brunette wanted to do it herself. Yet Miss Martian said that for the time being she was like a guest and wanted to be nice to her. Superboy on the other hand was usual watching TV static. Making the brunette want to either spend time with Wolf and talk to the pet about her own dog Tilly and other things. Or just hang out with Robin and Kid Flash while Wally flirted with her from time to time. The action sometimes making Artemis annoyed yet it made Teo feel slightly happy as time went by in a small part of her mind. The brunette slowly coming out of her shell little by little around them all making them all feel happy around her. Conner himself slowly knew more and more about her as time went by. Yet he still wondered why he saw her in a dream he had before he ended up with M' Gann. He remembered seeing her by herself with tears in her eyes. Calling herself ugly and unwanted. Making him sad. Not wanting her to be so upset yet he also thought that she looked pretty. Yet he started dating Miss Martian because he thought the brunette was just from a dream while M' Gann was real. The thought ending when he saw her in front of him and all his friends when he knew he wasn't asleep. Now wondering what she was supposed to be to him. Sometimes not even paying attention to the static as he knew back then that he wasn't the only one on the team who was single. "Hey babe. I got a new souvenir to show you" Kid Flash said with a smile on his face. The brunette sitting on the floor with Wolf and gently stroking his white fur. "okay. Even though talking with wolf is nice. But I'm not really complaining KF" Teo replied and got up to take a look. The speedster revealed it was the latest freeze gun him and The Flash had taken from Captain Cold during a battle and put it where it was. Making the brunette remember that her brother wanted to collect vinyl figures. But their mum only let him buy one.

"Where's Wally?" she suddenly remembered hearing someone say as a memory entered her head. The voice sounding full of worry yet she couldn't see who was talking as she saw the living room door was closed in front of her. But the voice now sounded like Artemis. "I'm sorry Artemis" another voice replied. Sounding sad and that part of his voice was full of regret. "Teo? Teo?" Robin said making the brunette snap back to reality. Kid Flash asked if she was okay to which she replied saying that she was fine and just zoned out. "Were you falling for my charms babe?" Wally asked and she rolled her eyes saying that he was dreaming. "I'm going to try and get Conner to watch something other then static. And if I have to fight him over the remote. Then bring. It. On...just. be careful KF" Teo said before she went back to the living quarters. Yet part of her didn't know who Wally was. Making herself confused for a second before she pushed the thought back. Wally looking confused too before Robin asked if he wanted to spar with him. The brunette returned to the room she usually saw Conner in and took the remote saying it was time they watched something other then static. Conner said that he liked watching static but the brunette just replied that she didn't and wanted to watch something else then and there. Conner grumbled a little as she changed the channel. But as she was doing so another memory stopped her as it entered her head. "It's not right M' Gann. Your behaving no better then Psimon" she heard Conner's voice say for a second. Making her wonder who Psimon was but quickly guessed that he wasn't one of the good guys. Again only hearing voices. "Teo. I don't think Conner is interested in gardening" M' Gann said. But the brunette continued to just stare at the TV. Looking completely zoned out and not hearing anything around her. "After all we've been through...how could you think I wouldn't recognise your touch inside my mind" Conner's voice said inside her head. Sounding full of hurt and sadness. "Teo" Conner spoke. Putting an hand on her shoulder and snapping her back to reality again. In turn making her change the channel again unknowingly to something she soon instantly recognised. "Oh cool. My brother Jack has this show on DVD. I think it's cool but his favourite is a different show surrounding superheroes" Teo said. Seeing it was the show Spectacular Spiderman.
