Chapter 1- The Return(1)

"Riiiinnnnnggg Rinngggggg!!
screeched the alarm waking up a sleepy and grumpy Jasmine ."Holy sh*t! it's morning already" she cursed feeling uneasy she pushed herself up fro. the bed becoming wide awake and hurried into the bathroom to take her bath. Jasmine Temple is a twenty-one year old is based in Texas but just returned from New York the previous night and is glad to be home. Jasmine is the only child of her parents though slightly pampered but most definitely not spoilt.
A few minutes later Jasmine come out wearing a bathrobe towel in hand while drying her hair "I wonder if mom is up by now" she said " I seriously can't wait for breakfast I
really miss mom's delicious pasta and sauce I totally miss her cooking" she quickly went over to her closet and put on a skinny jean trouser and a skimpy top hurriedly l ft the room and went down the stairs to find her mother already setting the table "Good morning, Mom" she said while sitting down to have a the meal " My sweet child, how was your first night in Texas?" Cassie Jasmine's mom asked as she dished for a hungry Jasmine "Quite good, I realized how much I've missed the comfort of my bed" said Jasmine having a slice of toast. " I'm glad you slept well and seem energetic at least I'm convinced you are able to follow me to the store to get some groceries.
Jasmine paused her food halfway in her mouth and pouted " Store? I really planned on going over to Kimberly's today" she said giving her mom a pitiful look hoping it would work like it usually does. "I know that my dear, but right now I would really want to have some special time with you before you get occupied.Is that okay?" Cassie asked " Mooomm, please not today we can shop maybe later I really want to see Kimberly and Lucille today!!!" she pleaded again,but her mom gave her the I'm-done-talking-about-this look and she shrugged. "When do we leave?" she asked, "Immediately after breakfast" came the reply .
Jasmine looked out the window as her mom was driving they were on their way to the grocery store, and already Jasmine felt bored she turned on her phone expecting a text or missed call from her best male friend Damien, she wondered if he was in town or hasn't returned yet. She sighed a bit when they finally arrived, as she got out of the car with her mother she realized once again how much she has missed Texas,she pushed the door open and went in. "Good morning" said the blonde haired cashier. " Good morning, we are here to get some groceries" said Cassie without mincing words. The cashier shook her head " I'm sorry ma'am but we don't sell groceries anymore. But there a new store downtown that we'll open by 6:00pm sharp today and it's free" she informed. Jasmine rolled her eyes.." No problem, we'll be there" said Cassie.
Jasy sat in her room hopelessly wondering when Cassie walked in, "Oh my, you're not even prepared c'mon Jas, we're supposed to be downtown already hurry up pick a dress and meet mommy downstairs" and with that Cassie left the room leaving Jasmine to sort herself out.
    
   Jasmine entered the car and smiled at her mom on the phone obviously planning a meeting with her friends. They arrived at the store and witnessed a crowd of people " Maybe this will be fun" Jasmine thought. "Cassie!!" Someone shrieked and there her mom returning the shriek left a surprised Jasmine and went off with her friend.
  In the Lounge upstairs voices where heard as there was a huge argument "This certainly makes no sense to me Father" said Gideon "How do you expect this to work Shane is obviously way too young to handle the Medics project, what will people say?" "I strongly believe that this very young Shane is the same Shane who is celebrating the grand opening of the biggest store in town?" replied Benson Watson CEO of  S.B.F and father of Shane, Gideon and Melanie Watson. "God, no need for all the pointless argument" Benson continued "Shane is obviously the right man for this job". Shane looked over at Gideon giving him an evil smirk.  "Father do you see what I'm trying to say, Shane is rather too playful for his own good he is definitely going to make a big mess" said Gideon.  " I've made my decision, I am handling this Medics project over to Shane. C'mon son there are people waiting outside for you with that Benson led Shane out of the room down to where the grand opening was being held.
    Jasmine turned around wondering why there was screaming everywhere and heavens, where on earth is her mom, squeezing through she managed to get to the front and began gasping for air "Here you go" came a voice along with an outstretched hand holding a bottled water Jasmine collected it nodding her thanks and drank.  She looked up to see a guy on nose mask looking  down at her ok maybe because she was bending, Jasmine straightened herself up.  "Thank you" she said and the dude simply nodded walking away.

      "Sweet heart, Vivian and I have been searching all over for you" came Cassie's voice as Jasmine sat down staring at the guy who gave her water who was literally not taking his eyes of and as well made it heard for Jasmine to do the task but on seeing Cassie Shane stood up and walked over to his half drunk father. "Let's go home imy tired" said Cassie pulling Jasmine up and over to their car.
