Yuichiro's redemption

Yuichiro Pov:

The room was nothing special, plain, simple and nothing out of the ordinary. Yet, there's something wrong. His instinct is screaming at him that there's something wrong and he's in danger. But he doesn't know why.

Is it because of his transformation that he's now feeling like this. Maybe it's because of his experience with the demon incident which eventually led to the separation of him and his brother. Or maybe it's because he wasn't used to being this alone, without the presence of his brother.

'Muichiro...he missed him. He knows that it wasn't that long ago when he last saw him but it feels so lonely and he just wants to see his smile again.

Speaking of reunion...what type of expression would Muichiro have when he saw his (supposed dead) brother again? A bright ginormous smile that shone brightly full of innocence and happiness. A smile that could not disappear no mat-

'Stop with the disgusting delusions for fuck sake. Of course Muichiro wouldn't smile like that to him.' He thought sadly

He cringed at the moments where he yelled at him and basically being verbally abusive to him. It was karma

He knows that he deserved the 'supposedly death' through the various incidents where he did many things that he now regret.

His intention was to keep Muichiro safe but now looking back at it. It did more harm than good.

A wave of sadness overcame him as he hoped that he will be able to redeem himself and hopped to be able to see his little brother's smile again.

He doesn't want forgiveness, he just want his brother to live a life that a normal kid should deserve: happy, carefree and free.

Coming out of reality he realised that he was thinking for a very long time. So long that he didn't realise that it was well over midnight.

He wasn't tired at all. Actually...he felt extremely well awake and full of energy. This is perhaps because of his transformation, he concluded.

All of the sudden he came into a sudden halt. He can hear footsteps through his sensitive ears. Nonetheless, he dismissed the abnormality of hearing footsteps during night time as he thought that someone was probably in the  need to relieve themselves or maybe need to go somewhere early. With that conclusion. He decided to go back to day dream and thinking about the past.

Only a couple seconds in, his thinking came to an immediate halt as a sudden realisation came over him, 'the footsteps... it's coming in my direction!'

A wave of nervous overwhelmed his sense as he realised that the person is now in front of his room.

He immediately and stealthy stand beside the door where this will let this stranger have less time to see him. This will let him have the opportunity to discover his intention.

Yuichiro's facial expression came into a frown as he heard the noise of keys which unlocked the door. Suspicious.

As the door opened he came into a realisation.

'Ahh that's why.' He recognised the figure.

When he heard the door was unlocking, he was wondering why the intruder has the keys. But as soon as he saw the intruder's face he got his answers.

It was the staff with scars, which he booked the inn with.

A confused expression was shown on the staff's face as he observed the empty room. There were no signs of the kid at first sight.

Turning around he was only to be met with a jump scare by Yuichiro as his face met with his.

He immediately jumped into action with a pillow on his hand. He tried to push Yuichiro on the ground with the pillow as a weapon only to fail miserably as he fell forward and slammed his face into wooden, plank floor.

Yuichiro cringed at the sound of the noise that the staff made when his faced connected with the floor.

'Broken nose for sure'

However, without hesitation the staff immediately got up and tried to push the pillow in front of Yuichiro's face with the intention to push him down again.

Yuichiro side stepped away causing the staff to almost fall again as he didn't expect that the kid has the reflex to doge him.

' This is the most pathetic attempted murder I've ever seen... Well it's also the second I've ever seen."

Having enough of this weirdo's antics he decided to punch him with a little force. Just enough to scare him away. However, this only lead the weirdo to throw up while passing out.

Looking back and forth to the passed out person and first. He was amazed by the strength he has. It wasn't unexpected as it is clear that demons have more strength than humans so they obviously have a clear advantage over humans. This leads to the ability to have immense cruelty over humans due to their nature. It's also because the need to to eat humans leading them to prey on them.

Wait a minute-speaking of prey. Yuichiro immediately came into a realisation as he looked the passed out staff.

'the pillow... He was using the pillow as a weapon. It's not dangerous nor used as a weapon. Unless to-'

Yuichiro immediately collected all the cloths around the room and turned them into ropes which he then tried them security around the passed out staff.

'He had the intention to wait until I was sleeping and to suffocate me in my sleep.' Yuichiro frowning at the man.

'the scars around his hands and arms are all of his victims relentless trials to trying to escape from his cruelty. If... They managed to wake up during their suffocation' Muichiro thought angrily as he observed the staff's scars. 'some humans can just be like demons as well.'

Having no impatience when it comes to this disgusting scum to wake up. He decided to slap him across the cheeks left and right.

By the time that the staff had woken up. It looked as if he had cysts growing on both of his cheeks. The cheeks was also glowed bright red due to the hell that it has been through because of Yuichiro's palm.

He immediately scream with the immense pain that is rotting his brains out. As he was screaming, he  suddenly choked. With a coughing fit he immediately spat out two tooths out.

Yuichiro cannot help but laugh at the misery the staff presenting.
