Shadowhunters Academy Year One

Chapter One

As I sit at my bay window bench day dreaming like I always do lately . Feeling like something big is fixing to happen to change my life .
I was wandering around this big open field with beautiful flowers I noticed a old castle with lovely roses around it . I started walking towards the castle with I heard a man's voice yelling what I am doing there.
I looked up and saw the symbols on his hands , I replied by saying I was walking around looking at the beautiful flowers and notices the castle and wanted to look around .
Well lady I don't know how you are seeing this castle, because only shadowhunters can see this castle and not other people from here.which can only mean you are a powerful Shadowhunter.

I am not sure what you are in applying I am .But I am no shadowhunter. But with that being said I will be on my way . I turned around to get one more look at this man and he was gone . I heard my mom calling me which snapped me out of my day dream.

I am coming mom and how was your day?

It was good sweetheart, The reason I am home early is because I have something important to talk to you about over some ice tea . So can u have a sit honey please .

Mom you are scaring me are you alright did something happen at work I have never seen you like this .

Luna yes everything is fine at work . Now I would like you to listen and then I will answer questions you may have.

It all started when my mom your grandma ask me to sit down because she wanted to tell me what I am about to tell you Luna. Our family comes from a long line of powerful shadowhunters which is our heritage. And we product the people who can't see what we see like vampires werewolf and shifters and warlocks. And on my 21 first birthday I too started having day dreams about symbols and seeing castle.  And that is when my mom sent me to the shadowhunter academy to learn about my gifts and angels they we are . I went to this academy for 4years and I have learn to cover up my symbols on my body . Which you will learn as well . But with that said Luna they will come for you because you are a very powerful shadowhunter with great powers . Don't trust everyone you see because so will try to kill you if you are not careful. This was given to me from my mom and now I am giving it to you Luna because it will protect you.

Mom this is all crazy to me . Why would you wait this long to tell me about our heritage.Did my father know about the shadowhunter?

Yes Luna your father does know because his family are shadowhunters as well . And the reason why I waited so long to tell you about this is because you are adult now and I know you can handle this and the academy.

So mom when does this academy start?
A week from tomorrow.  But we will be flying to Ireland because that is where the shadowhunter academy is .

Okay mom I will go to this academy to learn about my Destiny of becoming a shadowhunter.  But if I don't have to be there until next week can we leave early so I can explore Ireland before I start ?

Luna honey I was thinking the same thing . So go get packed and make sure you pack your laptop your cell phone and all the chargers .

Mom am all set and ready to head out . Are you ready ?

Yes honey am ready . And remember this is going to be a long flight but in first class we can watch movies or even sleep .

Mom you are right these seats are relaxing. I would what movies they have to watch or even TV shows.

Luna they have guide right on what movies will be playing . And it looks like The mummy and the mummy returns . Those are both good movies.

I think I will watch the first one and go from there . I am tired so hopefully I can get some rest as well .

Wow mom this place is amazing and beautiful that is for sure . And the beautiful buildings .

I told you honey you would fall in love with it . Now that we have rested are you ready to visit the Academy where you will be for the next 4 years.

Yes am ready I got everything I will be needing . Mom how far is the Academy?

Not far at all . As a matter of fact we are here .

Mom there is nothing here but a big field.

Luna look again . But this time use your Shadow ability and you will see it .

Omg Mom that is the castle in my day dreams .and it's more beautiful in person .

Shall we go up and get a better look of the castle?

Hello Luna I am Enzo I am one of the keepers of the castle and I am also the only  vampire.

Enzo how did you know my daughter name like that .

FAITH have you forgotten that I know things before they even come out . And also  FAITH I will keep a good eye on her while she is at the academy.

Hello Jace thank you for coming . I would like you to show Ms. LUNA SCOTT around the academy she will be starting on Monday.

Wait a minute I seen her before Enzo she the girl I was telling you about .
