Y/n: "MOM?! DAD?! YANFEI?!"

The door slammed open to reveal a little kid with a fiery look on his face and turquoise gem in his hand

Mother: "What is it!? Did someone get hurt?!"

They all immediately bolted towards the child to see what happened, Yanfei was the first one to notice the small decorated turquoise gem that was on my wrist

Yanfei: "Is that..." She froze on the spot

Y/n: "Exactly, a vision!" He started striking cringey poses to show off to his sister.

Mother: "Oh my Rex Lapis has blessed us once again, I'm so happy for you!" His mother hugged him, with a relieved smile on her face.

Father: "An anemo vision, just like uncle Alatus', it fits you."

*Poof*

Xiao appeared out of nowhere

Xiao: "What is it?"

Y/n: "Uncle Xiao!" Y/n ran towards him for a hug, but instead of hugging the kid, Xiao looked at him with an expression that could only be described as a mix of surprise and extreme worry.

Y/n: "Look, Look! It's just like yours!" He continued striking the most cringeworthy of poses, much to Yanfei's irritation.

Father: "Sorry, Alatus, I didn't mean to disturb you" Father said to him

Xiao: "Don't worry."

Xiao patted the kid's head, the expression of worry not leaving his face.

Y/n: "Uncle... Could you train me?"

The little Y/n tried his best at doing puppy eyes, but considering his sister's reaction, it can be said with certainty that he didn't do a good job.

*Total stunlock*

Xiao: "N-no. I am not fit as a teacher, I have no right to teach you. Now, if you'll excuse me."

Y/n: "No, wait!" I tried to grab him

*Poof*

Father: "Ah, Alatus, he's always the same." Father chuckled "

Y/n: "Ugh... I'm gonna show him!"

Mother: "Hm? What are you going to show him, honey?" Mother asked me

Y/n: "I'll beat him in a duel, and then he'll be forced to accept to be my mentor!"

Or so he would try.

Y/n ran off in the valley, yelling his uncle's name

Y/n: Uncle Alatus! I challenge you to a duel! If I beat you, you'll be forced to be my mentor!

Not more than five seconds before those words came out of the little guy's mouth, he found himself on the ground, not even being able to see what happened.

Y/n: "Ow... There's no way he beat me this fast..."

In that moment, a young girl who was roaming around, reading a poetry book, spotted the distressed Y/n on the ground and decided to approach him

Mysterious girl: "Are you ok? That guy really beat you up, huh? "

Y/n: "thanks, I hadn't noticed."

The girl helped him up and gave him a headpat before strutting off

Mysterious girl: "I'm sure you'll do better next time~!"

For the next 3 years, every single day, Y/n kept challenging Xiao to a duel, most of the time, he'd get beaten in a few seconds, but it didn't matter to him.

Y/n: "Today is the day, I know it! Xiao, I challenge you to a duel!"

It takes around 5 seconds for Xiao to arrive once someone calls him, and Y/n knew this well enough to use it to his advantage

He closed my eyes, trying to focus on the sound of the wind, accumulating as much energy as I could into his arm.

*Poof*

"As soon as he heard a sudden burst of wind hit his back, Y/n turned around and swung his wooden sword with all the energy in his body."

...

...

...

He finally opened his eyes and saw it. Xiao's arm was cut open, he had finally did it! Even if there... Was no bleeding?

Y/n: "Eh?" All of the adrenaline in his body turned into pure bewilderment, especially when the wound fully healed in no more than a few seconds

Xiao: "Not bad, I must admit. Well then, our training is finished. If you want me I'll be at Wangshu Inn eating a sweet dream." Xiao said, before starting to walk away like nothing had happened.

Y/n: "Wai-" I was interrupted by the sound of Xiao teleporting away

*Poof*

Y/n started walking back to his house, unsure whether to feel satisfied or not. What he didn't notice was the same girl who had helped him up a few years ago, staring at him with starry eyes from behind a tree...

(I noticed that all the lines I put on here just become "-" when I publish and the thing is quite annoying but whatever.)

Headcanon of the writer that re-read this chapter and realized it was written in first person???????????? Huh?????????? Are all the old chapters written in first person?????????????? When did I make this decision that blocks me from writing scenes where Y/n isn't present????????????????????? Oh well, be fixed it.

Anyways, the headcanon: Instead of blood, Xiao bleeds karmic energy, which is transparent.
