Today we attack.
I've already been awake by the time Tolkien comes in my room and tells me to hurry to the upper deck. I stand up from my bed and throw my cape on. Then my belt, shoes and my pouch which has already been filled with matches, a compass, and a knife.
I walk up to the deck and stand next to Clyde. He glances at me but doesn't say anything. It's seven in the morning and considering Clyde doesn't wake up until eleven, him being silent wasn't all that surprising.
Tolkien and Jimmy review the plan before everyone is set out to their positions. I reluctantly follow with my map in hand. I watch as people climb off the ship, carrying guns and gun powder. I climb off. Everyone is running to the forest and I know I have no time to save Tweek or anyone in there. My job is to enter their shelter and steal as much weapons that can be used against us.
I take the route I take to see Tweek but slightly off. I have someone following behind me and if they were to see Tweek he'd sure be dead. Outside the building there is few guards. They've already been taken care of.
I have no clue where they keep there weapons and from what i've seen it's not down in their dungeon basement. I hear a few gunshots as I slip into a room placed on the right. Nobody is inside but i've found their weapon rooms. The walls hold displays of guns and shelfs hold knifes. Stupidly, nobody is guarding here. I take as many weapons as I can carry and the guy that was behind me has brought two others and together we all take their weapons.
I'm assuming they have other weapons and they've definitely realized we are attacking. Me and the others have raided all their weaponry and we quickly leave before anyone catches us. I can barely hold the mountain of guns I have piled on my arms. I run through the forest, and release my pile of guns when I reach Tolkien, who's at the start of the forest. He thanks me and the others.
I hear gunshots from every direction and I know from what i've seen the Barbarians are probably using bow and arrows too. I'm about useless at this point, so I want to go in and make sure Tweek is okay. He'll probably be gone from him spot but I go in anyways. I'm very aware I could die or get injured, but I walk anyways. I try and hide myself.
I realize as I make it to a clearing in the trees that i've gone the complete wrong way. I can hear talking and crying though so I am interested in what that's all about. I follow the noises.
I can see Stan and Kyle standing together. They're half hugging which just kind of looks awkward. Kyle then falls down and Stan goes with him.
"Kyle, you're okay. Come on, you've got to stand back up we need to get you help," Stan says, holding back his cries. I quickly realize what is happening. Kyle shakes his head.
"Please, man I forgive you. I'm sorry too, just come on!" Stan tried getting Kyle to stand up. I get a glimpse of his wound which is a gunshot to his stomach and a giant patch of blood accompanied it.
I rip off a large section of my cape and run towards them. I put it around Kyle's waist, covering the wound and making sure to tie it tight. I rip off another part of my cape and press it down on his wound. Stan just watches me.
"Help me get him up," I say, looking at Stan. He nods and together we pick up Kyle and I keep pressing the cloth against his wound.
We walk out of the forest and I call the nearest person I can see over. He say's he can take care of Kyle.
Stan and I step back. I don't know if this guy is a doctor, or even if he knows what he's doing. I tell Stan i'm leaving and he just nods.
I walk back to the forest in hopes I can find Tweek. He's not at his usual spot so I don't exactly know where to go from there. All I do know is that it's not the direction all the gunshots are coming from.
I guess Tweek had the same idea because I can see him hiding in a bush away from all the chaos. Tweek sees me too.
"You dick!" Tweek yells at me and stands up. This isn't a very good start. "You knew about this didn't you? Why didn't you fucking tell me?"
"I couldn't tell you, I didn't want to risk you telling others and our whole plan being blown," I told him, staying calm.
"I could've died. I would've. They were at the same spot I always am. But I was in the building. If I had been there I would've been dead."
"I'm glad you are alive, but I didn't come up with this plan. I didn't even want to do it, but I had no choice, okay?" I told him, slightly angry,
Tweek expression softened. "You're lucky."
"Lucky? I think there's a much better word for this." Lucky is not at all what I am. Especially in this situation.
"No, you idiot. Lucky I like you," Tweek huffed and crossed his arms.
"Yeah me too, does this mean we're like cool?" I said.
"Not like that, holy shit. I meant like like. As in I want to date you." Oh. Makes more sense I guess.
Tweek just confessed that to me in the middle of a war? Well I might feel the same.
"Think we can save this for after this war?" I asked awkwardly, pointing to where more gunshots are happening.
"Oh! Yeah, of course. Um, i'm gonna go.. Stay safe."
"You too," I said as I began walking in the opposite direction. My mind is all foggy with thoughts, and this isn't the best timing.
After i've walked for ten minutes I have no clue where exactly I am. I just know which way is out of the forest and it's west.
I turn around to see everywhere just looks the same, so i'm thankful I have my compass.
Before I can turn around to continue walking away, I can feel a sharp pain growing in my stomach. Probably scraped it against something.
But when I look down there's an arrow sticking out of my stomach. I look back up to see someone running off. Stupid barbarians with their stupid arrows.
I put my hand out and grab onto a tree before dropping on the floor. Now, I could take out the arrow and use my cape to put pressure on my wound while seeking out help. But there's one problem there;
I don't want too.
Perhaps this is how Kyle felt. Not wanting to get up and get help. He got it anyways though, because Kyle deserves to live. I do not. I'm a petty thief with a bright future of prison. I am going no where.
I put a hand on the edge of the arrow, ready to pull it out and hope I can bleed out a little faster. Then I remember Tweek. I remember about Clyde, Tolkien, and Jimmy. I take my hand away.
There was no point in that. Nobody will find me and I can barely even move. My death will just be slow, and painful, just like I knew i'd die someday.
However, Tweek finds me.
"Feldspar?! Crap, what happened?" Tweek asked as he dropped next to me. If it wouldn't hurt so bad, i'd laugh, What happened? Take a wild guess.
"I like.. you too," Was all I said. I don't think i'd be able to say anything more.
"We've got to get you up, get help," Tweek said. I shook my head. I'm starting to feel dizzy, and I hope I pass out before I actually die, because I don't want to feel death.
"Feldspar, you have to. You'll die," Tweek saying, trying to pull me up but I stayed firmly on the ground. I shook my head again. Tweek stopped tugging at me. I know i'll die.
"Craig." If i'm going to perish, Tweek should at least know my actual name. Tweek looks at me funny. "Craig Tucker." It hurts too much to say the rest right now.
"Who's that?" Tweek asked.
I point to myself before quickly dropping my hand. "Me."
"Your actual name is Craig Tucker?" Tweek asks to confirm. I nod and close my eyes. "Nope, keep them open," Tweek told me as he opened my eyelids for me.
If it weren't for me currently dying, i'd have probably kissed Tweek. I hear Tweek yelling out for help but everything has gone silent. Just a ringing, then nothing.
And then I close my eyes for one last time.
hop you enjoyd. no this is not the end i pinky winky swear
