Chapter 1: the kidnapping

Waking up my head was pounding I sighed, sat up and looked around trying to figure out where I am. I saw two vampires coming into the room they both looked at me wondering why I'm not freaking out right now, or why I'm not asking questions I roll my eyes it's not the first time I've been kidnapped from somewhere. The female Rose walks up to me and I tense up as she gets closer to me I look away to the book shelf

"Do you like to read?"!Rose asks me I nodded slightly

"Here let's get these off but don't run we aren't bad people" she says as she bends down in front of me removing the rope from my feet then stands up , she helps me up and I turn around and she unties my wrists as she took the rope off I'm rubbing my wrists a little at the slight pain I nodded slightly at her and made my way over to the bookshelf,

I picked up a book on the history of the Mikealson family as I sat down in a chair in the far corner of the room and began reading

The two vampires Rose and Trever went upstairs and were talking about one of the originals named Elijah, I saw Elena start to wake up she looked around confused then at me I rolled my eyes and started reading again

I still haven't forgiven her for basically killing my dad and Miranda, I mean the whole thing was her fault anyway, if she hadn't went to that stupid party, dad and Miranda wouldn't have had missed family game night to go pick her ass up and they would still be here, and I definitely still don't forgive her or Damon for fucking with Jeremy's head, but dads brother is still here as is Jenna and Jeremy so I'm ok for now I sigh and close the book

I see Elena going up the stairs to listen into rose and Trevors conversation I roll my eyes

*skip to Elijah*
"He's on his way" Rose tells a pacing and nervous Trevor as I put the book down and stand up with my arms crossed

"Who? Elijah" Elena dumbly asks

"No idiot the Easter bunny.... Of course it's Elijah who else" I speak up for the first time , all the heads turn to me Elena scoffs at me

"I like you" Rose says I smile and nod at her as I walk over to the wall leaning against it closing my eyes, just then the door bell rings rose goes to answer the door and lead Elijah into the room

"Excuse the mess " Rose says as she looks uncomfortable in front of the original to be honest if I hadn't known of them or been thought about them from dad and John then I would be too

"Nonsense Rose "Elijah said as Elena pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket I rolled my eyes as Elijah looked at Elena

"Impossible " he said and looked around her neck snatching her necklace off her neck before he threw it I interrupted him

"You might not want to throw that, take the vervain out and keep the necklace it belongs to Rebekah" I said

"Who are you?" Elijah asked me

"Lord Elijah my apologies my name is Scarlett J.Gilbert" I said bowing to him using his Royal title he smiled

"Very well I shall keep the necklace here you take the vervain out" he tosses the necklace to me I catch it in one swift motion open up the necklace and takes the vervain out of it, I get flashes of Rebekah in what looks like a flapper dress and Klaus putting a dagger through her heart and compelling stefan to forget they ever met

"Scarlett are you alright" Elijah asked me looking at me with concern in his eyes for the first time since my parents died I feel safe but in the presence of the original

"Yes I'm alright just I get headaches sometimes it's usually a warning or flashes from the past" I said as rose brought me some water

"Thank you" I said as I took the water and drank some
