The Clock and Candles Game

Hello!!! I feel like I update this every once in a blue moon and then fall off the face of the earth entirely! It's kinda crazy how much time has passed since this book has randomly popped up in my brain. I really stay forgetting that this exists😭

Anyways an excited little update in my life I am publishing a book of my poetry perhaps☝️ which is exciting and also scary but I'm enjoying writing and planning it so far!

But let's get started on the game.

Requirements:

• 1 player !!
• An analog clock
• Four candles
• Matches or a lighter
• A sterilized needle wtf that's scary
• A quiet room
• Have 10 questions ready

Steps:

1. In the quiet room you are playing in clear out a large area on the floor. Make sure you have a large and flat surface. CLEAR OUT FLAMMABLE ITEMS!! It says a fire extinguisher is recommended which is scary af

2. Wait until at least midnight but no later than 3am

3. Bring your supplies to your playing area

4. Arrange the candles in a cross shape on the floor. The candles should be 8 inches apart from each other

5. Place the clock in the middle of the candles

6. Turn off the lights

7. Take a deep breath and get comfy bae

8. Heyyyyy you come here often?

9. Just kidding!! You are now able to begin

10. Using matches or the lighter, light 4 candles. It doesn't matter which ones you light but it's suggested to light the northernmost candle and then go clockwise from there

11. Using the sterilized needle prick your finger and deposit one drop of blood onto the clock/watch

12. Have you guys seen saw?? You know the needle pit?? I could never do that✋✋ I'd rather accept my fate than ever prick myself with a dirty needle

13. Now for the invitation!!

14. You can invite anything (preferably not a crazy ass scary ass demon or smth) however you want!! Use whatever words come to mind. HOWEVER BE RESPECTFUL!!!

15. Seriously be respectful. Do you want something snatching you up? No. Be respectful.

16. Once you've finished the invitation wait and watch the candles.

17. If the candles remain lit: your invitation has not been accepted. DO NOT PROCEED. Apologize for bothering the spirits, extinguish the candles, clean up everything, turn on the lights, and LEAVE. You may try again another day.

18. If at least 1 candle has gone out: congrats!! Your invitation has been accepted!! For every candle that went out that's one visitor that has arrived. You may proceed.

19. Start asking them questions

20. Ask your question aloud and watch the clock

21. If you're successful the hands of the clock will move!

22. You guys are just going to have to look up this game to see what the clock hands are telling you it's too complicated to write😭

23. If you do not receive an answer and the clock hands do not move do NOT repeat the question!! Only ask one question once☝️

24. Continue to ask questions until you have asked a total of 10 questions

25. If you would like to you can end the game here but if not prick your finger again and deposit another drop of blood and do the same things again.

26. DO NOT LET THE GAME EXCEED 1 HOUR.

27. Time to end the game!

28. Just kidding!! There's no guaranteed way to end the game.

29. You can thank your visitors for their time and expertise and instruct them that it is time to leave. Relight the candles that went out and see if they stay lit.

30. If the candles stay lit extinguish them, clean up, turn on the lights, and leave the room.
