"Y/N breakfast is ready! Hurry up before it gets cold!" Yukako shouted from the kitchen.

"I'm coming!" Y/N shouted back from the bathroom with a mouth full of toothpaste. She quickly finished brushing her teeth and rushed down the stairs to the dining table. Yukako emerged from the kitchen holding two plates of American-style breakfast. She sat the plate down in front of Y/N and the other across the table. She went back to the kitchen and came back with two glasses and a pitcher of orange juice. Y/N stared down at the plate in front of her, analyzing the pieces of French toast, sausage, bacon, and eggs as she warmed her hands from the heat of the plate.

"Girl I don't know why you had to rush me like that, the plate is burning the crap out of my hands." Y/N said jokingly.

Yukako smiled at her as she poured both of them a glass of orange juice and setting the pitcher in the middle of the table. The news played on the living room tv which was visible from the dining room.

"As you can see the weather for today will be mostly sunny, with a 30 percent chance of rain in the evening." The weather man announced.

"Oh my, I really hope it doesn't rain. I worked so hard on your hair and I don't want it to get ruined!" Yukako pouted.

"The chances of that are low so don't worry. Imma still bring a hoodie though, I don't want to risk it." Y/N responded.

The time was 9:30 am. The sun was beaming through the glass window, the birds were chirping, and the aroma of cinnamon graced the air. But, there was still an unprompted anxiety that lingered within Y/N.

"Do you have a feeling that something big is gonna happen today?" Y/N asked.

Yukako with a mouth full of food pondered for a moment before shaking her head no.

Y/N stacked a piece of toast, egg, and sausage onto the prongs of her fork and hesitantly she puts it in her mouth still wondering where that feeling came from. As the girls were finishing up their food someone rang the door bell.

"Who is it?" Yukako shouted out. After licking off syrup from her fingers she was heading to open up the door when suddenly a sealed blue envelope slid under it.

"What's this?" Yukako says surprised. Picking up with one hand she flipped it over to the back and read the words "For Y/N" in perfect cursive. She looked back at Y/N with excitement and eagerly placed it in front of her.

She carefully unfolded the envelope and studied the hand written letter inside of it that read:

Hey Y/N,
I didn't want this to come off too formal but also not too casual. At this point if you haven't already noticed, I have a huge crush on you.
I know this is out of the ordinary for me but I just had to let you know. I am so grateful to have meet you. These last several weeks we've spent together has meant so much to me. Your energy and charisma is something that I never want to fade from my life. I wanted to do something nice for you one last time before you leave so if you're up to it, meet me by the pottery shop at 10:30.
