𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲, none of us had heard much more on Buckbeak or Sirius Black. I was still extremely annoyed with the bleached blonde boy but I tried to put it behind me for the sake of our friends, for now.
It was Saturday my group and I were down by the black lake as promised. The sun's rays were beaming down on my skin. I could feel the side of my face burning and the smell of flowers and pollen filled my nose. My head rested to the side on Theo's stomach listening to the sound of his soft breath's and heart beat. The pair of us just sat there in silence enjoying each others company as the others were laughing and playing some sort of game in the lake.
It was so peaceful.
These moments were always so peaceful. It wasn't strange either for the pair of us to be like this, having known each other for as long as we did. Being this close was normal. I always felt like it just made my feelings for him grow though. But I didn't mind it. The only thing that was hard though was knowing for a fact he would never like me the way I liked him. Which is why I didn't complain and I was just content with the way our friendships for now.
Luckily for us the weather was still as lovely as it was during the summer break. Although I could feel it coming to the end as the days were becoming shorter, the rain was more frequent and the colour of flowers where changing. Today was nice though, the sun was shining brightly giving everything a sense of atmosphere. I love lake days. Especially this spot. Me and Blaise had found this hidden spot last year all on accident. It was practically untouched, flowers filled the patch of field and there were two great big trees standing proud. This was a place that you would run to. Somewhere we all came to when we had to get away.
We hadn't been here very long but we all decided to make a day out of it, Theo even made picnic bits. No doubt from the help of the kitchen elf's. He was always so kind to them, it surprised me at first given his harsh persona but deep down he was just as sensitive as me, a Hufflepuff.
