𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦. Seriously. He could be my new favourite person ever and that is saying something since its meant to be Blaise. When we picked our electives last year I did it based soley on me, to my surprise no one else did. Majority of the bloody year picked Divination and Care for magical creatures. I completely understand why they would pick the second option, having picked it myself. But divination, seriously. It's actually a laughable subject.

Although the minimum was two options I decided on three, wanting to cram as much knowledge into my brain as possible. Knowledge of topics that others didn't have, made me feel powerful. I actually really liked learning, I couldn't imagine it at a muggle school however. The thought makes me shiver. Anyway I decided on study of ancient runes, care for magical creatures and muggle studies. I was also picking up art as an extra curricular subject. To say this year would be busy was a complete and utter understatement but I didn't mind.

So here I was, sat with Neville listening to Professor Babbling babble on about homework and various ways of how we can identify symbols and translate them. Out of our whole year there was about ten of us. Ten. Luckily I was placed next to Neville because Merlin help me I might've actually failed this class without him.

I pick up my quill taking a few short notes on my parchment. "You don't know how happy I am to see your face Neville." I whisper although I didn't know why, Professor Babbling definitely wouldn't of heard.

"Thank you?" He said to me but it sounded more like a question. I was grateful for neville, ever since I met him on the first day. The pair of us was so nervous on the train, it always makes me laugh whenever I think about how he lost Trevor. Me and Hermione had spent nearly half the train journey looking for him.

Neville was always such a nervous boy around people, especially girls. I was lucky that he wasnt such a nervous wreck with me. I didn't know why, maybe it was because I was a Hufflepuff so everyone just suspects I'm nice and easy to talk to. Which I am most of the time.

I began closing my book finishing up the sentence. "I can't believe people even chose Divination over this. I mean its such a cop out" I say earning a chuckle from the boy.
