Anything just to see you smile ~

POV: Number 1 hero Izuku tells his son/daughter about Y/N (the mother) about how he would comfort her anytime she was upset

(This will be narrated by Izuku since it's a flashback and from his point of view)

While Izuku was cooking dinner for his son/daughter, he/she asked a question-

K/N: (kid name) Hey, Dad? Why does mom get upset pretty easily?

Izuku: Heh ~ Your mom is a very emotional person ~

K/N: How do you know?

Izuku: Chuckles I've known her for a while.  Even when I was your age ~ Why are you asking?

K/N: Well because...how do you deal with it? How do you help her?

Izuku: Hm ~ Your mom went through a lot and I remember she told me she had no one to run to.   So she ran to me-

It was midnight.  She was in her room and couldn't sleep.  Whatever bad thoughts popped in her head must've been so bad that it probably made her cry and shake

The more of those bad thoughts popped in her head the more upset she got.  But she decided to get up and make her way to my room

As for me, I was in my room.  I was wide awake but deep in thought

But I was shaken up a bit when I heard her knocking.  I looked at my phone only to see it was 12.  It was pretty late so no one should be awake right now...

Izuku: What the- It's 12.  Why is there someone at my door?

I cautiously made my way to the door and opened it

Izuku: Yawns What's going on- Ah! Y/N? What're you doing here- wait are you...are you crying?

It broke my heart to see her in tears and broken down.  Usually, she's really out there and happy but seeing her so down was...sad to me

I thought if it was a threat? A person? Bad guy? ...Personal problems?

Y/N: I-Izuku...

Izuku: Hey, everything is okay, Y/N ~ I swear it- ah!

She hugged me so tight while crying.  I remember I felt her shaking and her tears soaked up my shirt but it didn't bother me

I knew something must've bothered her so bad to make her cry like this

Izuku: Y/N. Somethings really bothering you.  Wanna talk about it with me?

Knowing her, she probably didn't wanna tell me.  She only hugged me much tighter

Izuku: Oh well, that's completely fine if you don't wanna tell me.  But hey...just know that I got you and as long as I'm here.  I'll never let anyone or anything  hurt you.  You're safe with me ~

Just those words alone made her cry more. I led her to the bed.  She rested on my chest while I hugged her more.  Come to think of it, she probably needed someone to be there for her and tell her it's okay.  I was her only source of comfort.

As soon as I tried going to sleep, she said...

Y/N: Izuku...I'm sorry-

Izuku: Don't be sorry.  There's nothing for you to be sorry about.  None of this is your fault.  So don't apologize.  Im always happy to take care of you.  Whenever you need me ~

Y/N: Thank you...~

Izuku: It's not a problem at all.  I'll do anything...

"Anything just to see you smile again"

Izuku gave a plate to K/N and smiled warmly as K/N had a look of shock on her/his face

K/N: That's probably why she loves you, huh?

Izuku: Trust me, she loves me more than anything in the world.  She doesn't love one thing about me, she loves everything about me.  Even my habits ~ Now eat up ~
