Episode 1: Kid IS Pandora

- Kaitou KID POV -

Putting the jewel infront of the moon, I sighed. It wasnt the Pandora again. How long have I been searching for Pandora again? Thinking about it, the Volley Comet that comes near Earth every tens of thousands of years will be coming towards Earth today.

Pocketting the jewel, I look down on the view below the high-rise building I had hosted the heist at. The view was as usual, crowded full of loud cheering from all my die-hard fans.

Behind me, the great detective, Edogawa Conan or also known as Kudo Shinicji, my biggest rival ever since I became a thief, finally caught up to me on the roof.

"Return the Jewel KID. I came to retreive the Jewel back from you."

Putting on my Poker Face, I grinned and replied with a bow, "Unfortunately, this was not the Jewel that I was looking for, Meitantei ( Great Detective), so I will return the Jewel to you."

Tossing the Jewel back to Conan which he had caught perfectly within his hands. I turned back and walked towards the edge of the roof before preparing to freefall down the roof before opening my glider to glide away back to mh hideout.

Having sensed my attempt to escape, Conan held onto my cape, which made him fall alongside me. I was panicking, what if I failed to protect the Great Detective? Holding onto his small body, I flipped the both of us over and activated my hang glider and soared through the sky with the Great Detective in my arms.

With the Great Detective in my arms there was no way I could be headed to my hideout, he would be able to know where my hideout was. Instead, I opted to fly onto a building nearby the Mouri Detective Agency where he stays at currently. I would have brought him back to the Kudo Mansion but there appears to be someone temporarily residing in there and I do not want to get attention from trespassing into private property without permission. (Even though that IS what I do as a thief)

En route to Mouri's Detective Agency, I saw the Volley Comet with my eyes. I can't believe it, the Comet that comes once every tens of thousands of years right in my sight. While watching the Vollet Comet infront of me, I don't know what came over me but I had started crying, I could feel tears running down my cheeks. It might have been the sense of relief of knowing that the organisation over me would not be able to achieve immortality as the Volley Comet has just passed by and they have yet to find Pandora or... no wait! Something is deeply wrong here! My vision seems to have reddened, Wait! Is there a layer over red on my eyes?

"KID, are you okay? Why did you suddenly cry? Did seeing the Volley Comey make you so touched because of how rare of an occurance it is for you to have been able to witness it? Wait, is your eyes a little red? Your pupil is red! That's not normal, people with different eye colors only have different colored irises."

Alarmed by the words that the Great Detective have said, I have decided to land on the nearest roof. taking out a hand mirror from one of my pockets, I have verify what the Great Detective have said was true, wait. Doesn't that meant that I was Pandora? Goddamnit. Why did it have to be me? I hated Pandora's existance, it was what had caused the death of my father, Kuroba Toichi which I had admired alot.

While I was deep in taught, Conan face was filled with worry.

"Oi, are you sure that you are okay? You have been acting all strange today, even at the heist KID. It was like your heart was not in it today. Do you need someone to talk to? I don't mind listening to you, although I am not the best at comforting someone else."
