The excuse is that copyright laws are different around the globe, that doesn't mean they don't exist. The basic gist of copyright laws is don't steal stuff that people who are still alive made. Teenfic is not following these laws at all. I did an entire week of class work that only talks about this, and google is acting like they are run by people who never went to high school. So they have no authority to claim that theft is within their guidelines.
Google is supporting a website that breaks laws that are consistent around the globe.
