Chinese Resturant - II

DANIELLE POV

I felt relieved that I didn't go to the same school as those punks. Also, thats not the only thing im thinking about, whatever that kitties name is was the second thing on my mind. She still hasn't called me yet and it's been like a week but I still can't stop thinking about her, she was so sweet to stand up for me that I was on the verge of happy tears.

Almost getting beat up by some guy was defintley not normal for me which made this sudden attack so suprising, I swear I could've done something but it's not a big deal anymore.

I couldn't wait for graduation today! I was fixing the cap or the black mortarboard (cap thingy you wear during graduation) on my head until I heard the doorbell ring.I opened the door expecting Hanni to be at the other side of it but it turns out instead of the short, vietnamese girl at my door it was Jihyun.

"JIHYUN!!" I hugged him and he lifted my off my feet off the ground and picked me up to spin my around, he than put me down.

"I've missed you so much!" I said, half-screaming in his ear just excited I'd get to see him after such a long time! 

"I've missed you too Dani! I heard you started working at kung-fu chop?"
He than smirked at me, "Yeah I have started working there! I was hoping to see you there since you work there too!"

"Oh yeah, come in, I can't belive I haven't invited you in yet!"
Jihyun walked in and closed the door behind him, he took off his shoes and I invited him to my room since my grandma wasn't home right now. He took a seat on my bed while watching my struggle to fix my mortarboard.

"Your cap looks pretty lobsided"

"You think?"
I joked, "I have been having trouble tryna adjust this to make it look right."

"Lemme help"

I turned to him and he got off of my bed to help me fix it, he kept twisting and turning my hat making me feel a little bit skeptical about him fixing it. He raised his left arm to assist his right one revealing his toned body. Despite being 19 and gonna be in only his second year of college once the semester starts he was already making a name for himself playing professinal basketball.

"Look in your mirror now"
I turned to my mirror to see my mortarboard to see it looked perfect on my head, he stood behind me looking at my reaction with it. He than brushed some hair out of my face and smirked, I felt my cheeks turning mutiple different shades of red, 

"thank you"
I quietly whispered out of embarrasment, 
"anytime Dani, anytime."

"Are you gonna be at my graduation?"
I asked him while still staring at my reflection in the mirror.

"Can fish breathe out of water?"
He asked so I glared at him, "no" I mumbled. I than diverted my attention back to the mirror but I could see him frowning from the corner of my eye. I groaned, "What came up?" I asked sounding slightly annoyed.

"I have training for a game but if it ends early I will try to catch you before your graduation ends." Jihyun could tell I was kind of angry and still a little bit annoyed so he tried to calm my nerves down,

"Hey, how 'bout I take you out for dinner tomorrow night?"
He asked and I reluctantly agreed! I was like having dinner with your crush..not that he's my crush but you would feel the same excitement with him as you would with your crush!

Jihyun than left and as soon as he exited the door my phone was buzzing, I thought it was him playing mind games but since the universe has a unique way of working it was just some random number than happend to be the half feline-half human looking girl.
