I suddenly remembered how pain comes when your body gives them space to grow there. Deep in your heart. What I often emphasize in my life is how things will shape up when I go through what I've never known before or repeatedly experienced. So, I feel that difficulties are not something special or new. I'm often scolded.

"Zoya," they call me, one of the many who know me on this college. I never imagined that he had been friends with me for over a decade.

I mean, you understand that there is one bad habit in you, that is misunderstood and misinterpreted by others. "Just reply, or stay silent, this indifference is flaring up."

Hana ignored her shoulder bag model, "What did you bring? It's so heavy." She huffed while placing the bag on the table. Then her right hand quickly grabbed my phone and ordered food.

This college has already followed modernization in the culinary sector. Even ordering food uses a famous IT team's app here, making transactions easier and more efficient.

"I want chicken noodles, just like usual, right?"

Actually, I don't feel like eating today. I'm thinking about something that I haven't solved yet. Yes, the solution is still frozen in my head. I need something to melt it, usually by staying home alone.

"Nah, I'm not hungry. Please order avocado juice." Hana grimaced and gave me a displeased look. As if I could see her thoughts, "How can she not order food?!"

"Why?" I turned my attention back to the laptop screen after glancing at her briefly. I knew there would be a lot of complaints coming from her mouth. She could spend all her energy to rant at me until she foamed at the mouth.

"Tsk, forget it. I'm in a good mood. Zoy, do you know Mr. Arkhana? He looks like a Turkish actor, and for some reason, he seems to have a heart today."

As expected, if she doesn't rant at me, she will tell a long story about that guy. What comes out of her mouth is often a mix of curses and praise. The percentage is not too far apart, I can say it's almost the same, as Hana is the type to hate but also like someone.

"That's unusual," I replied while glancing at the notifications on my phone. There's a message from someone whose number I don't recognize.

I hesitated for a moment before picking up my phone, thinking about what would happen. I don't feel safe with this. I think only a few people dare to contact me.

Again, I emphasize that not many people like me. They are too narrow-minded to judge and see.

"Maybe he's in a good mood, you know, like a young man, even though he's not much older than us, but you know ... his charm ..."

I kept looking at that number as if I had contacted this number before. Then I pressed on the contact info, maybe I had exchanged messages or made calls, but there was nothing, I don't know whose number it is.

"Oh my God, Zoy!"

I furrowed my brows, looking at her expression that made me skeptical that this would go far beyond my expectations. Trying to catch her eyes as they darted back and forth towards the screen, and when she pointed it out with a worried face, it worried me a bit, this girl always makes me worried.

"Who is it? Just tell me quickly." I urged her with a slightly uncomfortable attention, just enough to make her surprised. What if she's that surprised? Who's behind this annoying number? Could it be the President?

"You have a connection with him, Zoy? Are you close to this irritating person?"

I became even more confused. Can she just say who is behind this annoying number? Oh no, I don't want my mood to plummet hearing this news. I'm too lazy to control myself to feel comfortable, whatever, I don't care about anyone.

"Hey, stop it. Just take the order, here's the money. I don't care who's behind this number, all that's on my mind now is how to finish this task," Hana felt a little guilty, her face showed confusion and disbelief combined with a lot of guesses that she was holding back.

"Okay, but I just want to let you know, be careful with this person. I don't want anything bad happening to you."

Hana straightened her clothes and walked towards the order counter, which was located far to the left, next to the counter contained complete cutlery that followed the self-service system. It's nice to see how independence grows from within and, more importantly, a great sense of responsibility to understand and follow the college rules.

I've thought many times about what will happen today. I often plan to go back to the dormitory immediately and search for references for this task. The deadline is not close to today, but at least I want it to be done soon so I can focus again on participating in the cultural project at the company where I've been working for a year.

Since my contract is for a year, there isn't much for me to do there, but the team leader there asked me to extend my contract with them because my performance there added value to the company for some time.

Hana came and put the glass of juice down, then focused her gaze on me, "What do you want to say?" I know her annoying nature.

"Ahem, Latif is looking for you. Be careful, Zoy." Whatever this girl meant. I immediately looked at the subject pointed out by Hana. Someone taller than me, wearing casual clothes, with wet, messy hair. I heard that this SEB leader is from Arsi (Indonesian Synthetic Resin Association) Oh no, I'm so lazy.

Could it be that the number that just called me is from him?

Without much preparation, I immediately stood up and walked toward him with a swift pace, sometimes feeling the women here glancing at me, and they spoke in accordance with my assumptions. Oh God, blame it on the fact that a popular guy on college meets an ordinary girl?

"Hello,"

He turned around and looked friendly. I could smell the scent of mint even though it wasn't too strong. Enough to make him feel fresh and confident. Many people don't want to be friends or get to know me better because I'm the type of person who gets straight to the point. Small talk or slow approaches make me lazy to interact. And it's boring, isn't it?

"Hi, Zoyandra."

"The number that called me earlier, is it your number?" Without hesitation, I asked a question that Hana couldn't answer. Maybe from him, I'll immediately know without much drama.

"Hahaha, straight to the point. Can we sit down for a moment?" He kept that gaze fixed on me, stand by to scrutinize my eyes. Oh no, I'm so lazy. This will probably be long and wide.

"I'm in a hurry, can we get to the point?"

His forehead furrowed, then his eyelids narrowed. He laughed, showing another charm that was rarely displayed in public. Oh no, don't think I'm a girl who's interested in him, I just heard rumors about him from the women in the campus hallways, the canteen, or from Hana. That's all.

"Okay, if that's the case, it seems like you're very busy." He teased me, but I don't find it disturbing.

"I need a partner in the core SEB position. You know Anindya from Accounting, she just passed away. So, I need someone with the same competence as her to replace her position, what do you think?"

This guy is so annoying!

What the heck?!

Putting me in that position and not valuing me as an outsider in SEB is really unprofessional. What he said, needing a partner? Replacing someone who is no longer here?

"Are you crazy?!" I raised my voice a little.
