Y/ns Pov:
So its been a week of nick, matt, chris and I of seeing this thing and mom and dad know that they also see it and they think we are.crazy!
We aren't crazy!.....there is just...something..haunting us...atleast I think so
"Kids!" I hear dad yell from down stairs, me and Matt look are in his room, we and run down stairs along with nick and chris behind us
"Yea?" I say
"what?" Chris asks
"Your guys mother and I are going to go out to dinner and woke be back until at least 2am" dad says with mom right next to him and they are all dressed up
"Why 2?" Nick asks
"Yea that's late" matt agrees with nick
"Because we...we need some time to talk about...the uh..the things that have been happening lately" dad says With some what of a worried face while mine and triplets faces are straight.because we think the worse when they bring that up
"Alright bye mom, dad" I say and am ready to turn around and go upstairs
"Bye kiddos we love ya!" Mom says blowing us all a kiss
"Bye mom, bye dad love you too" matt said and got on his phone
"Bye guys love ya!" I say and me and Matt turn around and start walking to the stairs
"Bye dad! Bye mom! I love you guys!" Nick says waving
"Bye guys I love you too!" Chris says and then mom and dad walk out of the door
And all four is us run upstairs and into Chris's room
About 2 hours has pasted and it is now 10:49, we have been watching movies and playing video games in Chris's room all night
All of us are on Chris's two person couch at the end of his bed, im on the end, matt next to me, nick next to matt, and chris next to nick
"Oh my god" I say and slap my hand to face noticing its Monday
"What?" Nick asks and leans forward to see me
"Its Monday I missed school today" I say giggling
"Oohhhh!! You skipped!!!!" Chris teases me
And then right after Chris said that the tv turned off along with all of the lights in the house
"Huh.guess the power went out" I say, "weird, its not storming" I say looking out the window
"The power doesn't only go out when its storming y'know?" Matt says looking at me like im stupid, and I just stayed silent
Then we hear a crash noise down stairs
"Ugh Trevor got into the cabinet again" I said as I got off the couch while Chris followed me downstairs leaving Matt and nick upstairs
Once we got into the kitchen Trevor wasn't in there and nothing was out of the cabinets
"Huh thats weird" chris said as he looked in all the cabinets, nothing was touched
"Yea....didnt it come from in here though?" I ask
"yea...I mean I sounded like it did" chris agreed with me, then Chris's eyes went wide and he was looking at something behind me
"What?" I asked thinking he was looking at me
"Behind..you" he said and slowly raised his hand up and pointed at it
I turned to look behind me thinking that Chris was messing with me but then I saw it.....I saw the thing. (we call it "the thing" btw). It was on the ceiling in the corner with its legs on the wall and it was just staring at us smiling wide with black ink dripping off of its x mark for eyes ...drip....drip....drip
It has now became so silent that the dripping is all we can hear
I then back up towards chris keeping my eyes on the thing
I am now standing right next to chris
"....run" the thing whispered loudly in a deep dark scratchy voice that echoed throughout the kitchen, me and chris immediately turned our heads towards each other with eyes as wide as they can be
