𝖬𝖺𝗒 𝟤𝟢𝟤𝟥ALANA felt like she could cry herself into an entire ocean if it was possible. She didn't know whether she still loved Charles or not, but deep down inside her broken heart there was still a place for the Monegasque male who drove for Ferrari. Maybe Alana loved what they had, their friendship before they reached the relationship stage. All of those late-night conversations and late-night laughs were what Alana seemed to be attached to.
She would cry because of the strange feeling that boxes were being slowly stacked on top of her and she was slowly being pushed to the ground. Alana missed Charles Leclerc, she missed the smiles they shared and the warm hugs while one of them would reassure the other adult that everything would be alright. Alana missed knowing that she could talk to someone about her messed up emotions — other than her sister — but now she couldn't.
Alana wanted to play every sad song on repeat until she didn't have any tears left to cry. She could sit in the shower for hours and end while listening to Billie Eilish or Daniel Caesar as they sing songs about love and relationships. These were the two things she didn't have.
She wanted to feel his warm hands roam her body as they searched for the perfect spot to rest.
She wanted to interlace her fingers with Charles's everywhere they went together.
Feeling Charles hold her close if any fans following them started to get hectic. So everyone would know who she belonged to and just to keep her safe just in case something would go wrong.
It felt like every time his hand interacted with hers, Charles just wanted to cherish her, show her off, and most importantly Alana felt that Charles loved having her with him.
Until one day he didn't.
He woke up and decided to cheat on her during his time in Azerbaijan and before that, he had dinner with another girl which led to something way worse than some silly dinner at an expensive restaurant.
Of course at college, Alana kept her image together, she would look cheerful as if nothing ever happened but on the inside, she was hurting.
"Alana, were you paying attention?" her younger sister Allison asked over FaceTime, "My bad, what did you say?" Alana snapped out of her thoughts. "I said 'Would you be down to hang out next week' but it's fine if you're busy with your last year of college." Allison repeated herself, "Uh, sure." Alana figured with the hem of her oversized shirt.
"I'm excited, we could go shopping or— hey babe." Arthur Leclerc came into the frame as he kissed his girlfriend on her cheek. "Hey Arthur, how are you doing?" Alana asked as it was the polite thing to do. "Just got out of the shower," he stated, but all Alana could think about was how similar her ex and his brother sounded.
Arthur soon left to pick up the dinner he and Allison ordered due to the restaurant not doing deliveries to hotel rooms. Which left Alana and her sister more alone time to talk.
"How's Imola," Alana desperately tried to destruct herself from the taunting voice of Charles in her head. "It's alright, they canceled the race so me and Arthur are now finding things to do in Italy. I should've stayed in Monaco but you know, I changed my mind last minute." Allison explained messing with the tips of her hair.
"That's good, have you seen Charles." the last part came out as a mumble, "No, I don't think Arthur has either."
Sooner or later, the youngest Leclerc brother came back from getting the food and Allison hung up the phone so she could eat. Leaving Alana in her room rethinking her life choices about dating Charles Leclerc.
