"What do you mean my life will become hell" Dream complained.
If the government find out... there's a very high chance they will want to do testing on you Dream, or deem you unfit for society and send you to a psych ward" Shlatt explained.
"Surely they can't do that without permission" Dream stated.
"If it become too much of an issue, then they will have every right to" Shlatt responded.
"Right..." Dream said rubbing over his face in annoyance.
"Just don't bring up..." Foolish said putting his younger brothers shoulder, guiding Tubbo to the Kitchen so they could start eating there dinner.
"It might have just been a one time thing" Shlatt suggested, as an attempt to sooth Dream.
"Mabey" Dream answered, knowing it wasn't, he could still feel the burn that causes the outbreak.
"Up for some dinner??" Puffy asked changing the subject.
"If I said no would I still have to eat" Dream responded, chuckling slightly.
"Yep! you want it at the dinner table??" Puffy replied.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a second" Dream answered watching Shlatt and Puffy leave the room.
He pulled out his phone to message the group chat with all his friends.
'Nobody bring up what happened today in reception, unless you know you are not at risk of being overheard... including messages'.
Dream didn't want to explain why, so just turned off his phone and stood up.
His lower back cracked, slowly popping up the spin. Forgetting he had the peas on his foot he heard it hit the floor. Then only remembering the pain his foot presented until he bent down to pick the peas up.
His face scrunched up, but he got back up. Knowing he was going to need pain meds, he started heading to the kitchen.
"There you are, your plates already here" Puffy said pointing to Dreams seat next to Foolish at the dinner table.
"I know just grabbing some stuff" Dream replied, scavenging through the cabinets. That's when he realised he hadn't take the other medication he take for that day yet. Nobody but himself knows what the medication is. Puffy has tried to know what it is, but Dream won't budge in telling him. So he walked over to his school bag to grab a packet, popping one of the pills.
He walked over to the dinner table and took them taking a drink of water afterwards.
"What's that for?" Foolish asked clueless.
"When you break a foot, it can be rather painful" Dream joked.
"Fair enough" Foolish replied shovelling cottage pie into his mouth.
The table was all chatter like usual. Dream was silently poking at his food with his knife. He wasn't hungry, and he knew it was another omega trait he was trying to get rid of. They didn't have huge appetites. He knew tonight was going to a long one. He had sat at the table for hours, fighting the urge to not eat, and Finish his plate of food to fight the natural instinct.
"Duckling are you not hungry?" Puffy asked looking at Dream knowing what he was thinking about.
"I am, just taking my time" Dream replied not looking at her but his food, which he was taking small an slow mouthfuls of.
"If your not hungry you don't have to eat it, you know that" Shlatt said standing up to wash his plate.
"I'm hungry, I'm just a bit slower today" Dream said picking up his plate and leaving to finish his food on the porch swing, so everyone wouldn't sit at the table and watching him forcefully feed himself food he doesn't want.
The fresh air was helping him get through his food, after 15 minutes he got halfway through his plate. He was however feeling sick to his stomach.
"You realise your body doesn't always need a portion of food" a voice said from the stairs of the porch. Dream slightly jumped at looked to see Sapnap.
"Sapnap?, how do you know where I live??" Dream observed.
"I didn't you idiot, I was walking around and saw you so figured I'd come say hello, only to find you forcing yourself to eat food" Sapnap explained, "can I sit with you?".
"Sure, I guess" Dream replied moving over.
"How's your evening been??" Sapnap asked taking a seat next to Dream.
"I don't know, I was asleep for 90% of it" Dream responded.
"There's still the 10%" Sapnap replied.
"It was fine..." Dream huffed out, "any good for you?". Dream asked, wanting to direct convocation away from himself.
"It was alright I guess, I dealt with some yelling, but that over for now" Sapnap replied smiling at the end, a hint of sadness could still be seen.
"I'm sorry..." Dream said, not really knowing how to comfort Sapnap in that moment.
"It's fine don't worry to much about it" Sapnap said before continuing, "I get to leave next year, you got any plans?".
"I never get the freedom to make plans, everytime I go through with them, they get disrupted and I have for forget about what I wanted to do" Dream said shrugging, forgetting about the fact he was meant to be eating his food.
"That sucks, all I plan to do, is get a job and get my own house, I'd love to take some online courses but I'll wait and see" Sapnap replied.
"What sort of courses??" Dream asked easing into the convocation properly.
"I've seen some coding ones as well as some programming" Sapnap explained.
"Wait really, I have been too. I work at my friends computer firm. I've been able to actually code actually programs" Dream replied excited to talk to somebody about his hobbies.
"What do you program?" Sapnap asked interested.
"Well, it's usually whatever has been requested by clients. My most recent request was a tracking device, I got to make the tag for the tracker and..." Dream started blabbing on with everything he had to do, passionate about his work. Sapnap just sat and listened seeing how happy it made Dream. He was also quite interested in the topic of convocation.
30 minutes had past of Dream and Sapnap geeking out over computer programs and neither had realised how quickly time had gone, until Sapnap had an alarm in his phone go off.
"God I have only just seen the time, I need to get going" Sapnap groaned.
"That's alright, kerfues are set to introduce order and repetition into ones life. It's suppose to have a positive effect" Dream said mocking Google.
Sapnap laughed waving off Dream and walking off.
Dream after watching Sapnap walk down the street only then realised why he was out there in the first place. The food.
Dreams face grimacing at the plate knowing it was cold and he still had half of it to eat. He knew he shouldn't but the rebel in him made him, so he stated nibbling at it, until he finished it.
Even if it made him feel sick.
