A Different World. (Tails x Human!Reader)

Chapter 5

As you woke up you still had the same pain in your chest. You tried to still the pain in your chest pulling you down. You put your hand on Tails bed to pull yourself up. You hugged your chest with one hand as you got up trying not to yelp. You look at Tails bed and Tails isn't there. You walked downstairs to see Tails sitting on the couch. He saw you and waved he looked tired. "Tails!" You yelled. 

You ran and hugged him. "Ow.." Tails groaned. "O-oh sorry." You released from the hug. "It's fine but.. what happened?" Tails asked while rubbing his head. "Well uh, after I impaled Eggman's Egg mobile it exploded and a flying debris hit you in the head. Same with me but in my chest. You had a huge cut in your head and you were knocked unconscious." You said. "O-oh." Tails stammered. "Are you ok? You seem kinda tired." You said. 

"W-when I woke up I just couldn't go back to sleep. I saw you sleeping on the floor near me and I didn't want to disturb you. So I just went downstairs and tried to watch some TV but that didn't really help." Tails said. "Oh you wouldn't have disturbed me. I would have understood and as least try to help you somehow because that what friends are for right?" You said while smiling. 

Tails smiled and gave you a hug. He blushed which made you blush as well. After a minute of hugging you start to tap Tails. "Erm.. Tails?" You whispered. You looked at his face to see his eyes were closed. You realized he had fell asleep on your chest. You blushed hard with your heartbeat accelerating ignoring the pain in your chest. You tried to calm down not wanting to wake him. You put your arms around Tails again and you slowly stroke his back.

He quietly purrs as he nuzzles your chest. You blush harder as your heartbeat accelerates. You thought to yourself how cute his purrs was. You couldn't stop your heartbeat from accelerating but you weren't to worried because Tails still seemed fast asleep. It's been about 10 minutes with Tails still lying on your chest. It hurt but he didn't put to much force. You watched as his two tails swayed slowly it made you feel kinda tired. 

You kinda wanted you rub his two tails but you didn't want to make it weird although it kinda already was. You heard Tails yawn as he rubbed his eyes. You look down to meet his gaze. He stared at you for a few seconds like he was processing where he was. Then his eyes widened and he started blushing as his two tails wagged.

He got up from your chest quickly. "Y/N! I'm sorry I-I didn't know I fell asleep!" Tails stammered. You laughed a but it quickly turned to coughing. "D-don't worry. I know you were tired." You said. "A-anyways, remember that thing you in while fighting Eggman?" Tails asked. "What do you mean." You said while scratching your head. "Like that thing where you just.. blipped a weapon or something into existence." He said. 

"Oh, you mean like this?" You spun your shield into existence. "Yeah! How do you do that?" Tails said. "I don't know, it kind of just happened a while ago." You said despawning your shield. "Hm do you have anything else?" Tails asked. "Well I have a sword and a.. scythe." You said as you summoned them both. "Oh well.. isn't that a.. sickle?" Tails questioned. "It was a scythe before it was a sickle." You said. "The extender was shattered and the end is kinda busted." You said as you despawned your sword.

"Hm.. maybe I could fix it?" Tails suggested. "What? Really? I mean your head is still damaged are you sure you'll be able to?" You asked. "Well uhm.. I actually have no idea have to fix it. I thought I could think of something but I can't." Tails said while rubbing this head. "Don't worry it's fine you should probably just rest a bit you don't have to do so much right now." You suggested. "Well.. your probably right. Tails said as he sat down. "Can I see the chaos emerald?"

(Sonic POV)

"Although Y/N did help us I don't think I can trust them. I mean their a human but not from here. I can't believe Tails just trusts them I mean they could be with Eggman for all we know. Well what do you think Amy?" Sonic said. "Well I guess so but we don't know anything about them-" "Exactly!" Sonic interrupted. "Like is there really others humans from different places other then Mobius?" Sonic said confused. "No Sonic that's not what I mean. Like what if there from somewhere we haven't explored yet or where Eggman tried to wreck or some entity." Amy replied.

"Wait Sonic didn't you leave to find the chaos emerald?" Amy asked. "Yeah?" Sonic answered. "Who got the emerald?" Amy asked. "Y/N." Sonic answered.  "And who kept it?" Amy asked. "Y/N." Sonic answered. "And who do you not trust?" Amy asked one last time. "Y/N.." Sonic said as he frowned. "Yeah. So you better go get that emerald before they run off with it." Amy said. "Your right thanks for the idea Amy!" Sonic said while running out the door.

(Y/N/General POV)

You walk back downstairs with the chaos emerald in your hand. For some reason the emerald had more of a glow and pulsed a bit in a close proximity of you. "Hey Tails is the emerald supposed to do this?" You asked. "I'm not sure did it do this yesterday?" Tails asked as he took the emerald. "I don't think so." You said.  The emerald beings to float out of Tails hand and spinning rapidly while glowing brighter. "T-Tails! Is this normal?!" You shouted. "I don't know!" He shouted back. 

The emerald shoots up in the air making a hole in the roof. You and Tails look through the hole to see a abductor and something above it. It start descending towards you and Tails. "Look out!" You shouted as you yanked Tails. The thing broke through the roof causing dust. You saw something come after you at extreme speeds. It grabbed you fast causing it to hit your chest. This made you yelp in pain. A familiar voice said. "Ooh! Looks I caught a something." The voice said as they laughed.

As the dust settles you look down to see a claw around your arms and chest. You try to struggle but it's to tight. You look up to see Eggman holding the emerald. "Y/N!" Tails yelled. The claw pulls you near Eggman's abductor. "Tails!" Sonic burst through the door. The claw released near his Egg mobile. You fell on your hands and knees and you couldn't do anything but cough. 

Sonic turned around seeing you in the ground. "I hate being right.." Sonic said under his breath. "What did you say?" Tails asked. "I knew Y/N was with Eggman Gah! Why didn't I get here sooner!" Sonic exclaimed. "Sonic, what do you mean?!" Tails yelled. "Yes everything is going according to plan." Eggman said as Sonic and Tails are arguing. "Now it's time to run some tests." Eggman said as he extended the claw towards you. Hearing this you turn around to Eggman sitting on your bottom. You try to summon your shield but your to late. The claw grasps you again. Eggman beings to hover back up taking you with him. "Ah! Y/N!" You heard Tails yell. You felt so something pinch you then everything turned black.
