You were awoken by the sunrise and gasped.
You were due to serve Shoto even if it was your wedding day because you had to wait on him before yourself. Always.

You rushed into the servants quarters and dawned your uniform. It almost felt sentimental. It would be the last time you'd be wearing it. You'd soon be the Queen of Endormia.

Atleast that's what you had assumed since you'd be marrying the future king.

You'd at least be the Crown Princess, right?

You went up into the palace in a hurried manner but smiled at everyone you passed. Some shared your early morning excitement. Most didn't. Everyone was preparing for your wedding.

Once you reached Shotos room, you knocked twice but out of excitement entered without response anyways.

What you saw, surprised you.

His bed was completely empty. Nothing. Not even a trace that he'd slept in it.

You were so filled with glee when you saw his wedding attire spread out on his bed. You assumed he must've gotten up happy too that day and made the bed himself for once.

You went to go tidy his things as best you could. You had to. After tonight, this would be your room too. Just the thought had you blushing.

You were about to finish cleaning the desk when you saw the bottom drawer slightly ajar.

You went to close it but it wouldn't budge. It was filled completely.

After moving it around a bit, you finally got it open so you could fully see the problem. It was filled to the brim with letters. All with the royal stamp of Creatia.

Your stomach turned and your everglowing smile wavered. What was all this?

You opened them one by one. Each one from the one addressed with 'Dear Prince Todoroki...' to 'My Dearest Shoto...' You didn't have time to read through all of them, but the increasing intimacy in each address and the dates lined up perfectly.

One oddly colored envelope was sandwiched in between all the other ones. It had no seal, indicating that it hadn't been drafted to send yet. You opened it up and saw your beloved's handwriting clear as day. If there was anyone's handwriting you knew, it was Todoroki Shoto's.

Your heart sank deeper and deeper as you read the letter and tears spilled from your eyes as you finished it.

You quickly placed it back in the drawer and put everything back in place before finishing your job in Shotos room.

You could barely think straight as you shined his shoes. As you dusted the windows. As you spiffied the closet.

Your mind was ever turning and everytime you thought, tears came to your eyes.

"Madamoiselle, you must be very excited to see the dress I have prepared for you. You have tears in your eyes."

You looked at Aoyama with a wry smile.

"I'm very excited." That wasn't a lie. You were quite excited to see the dress he'd prepared. You didn't know what else to focus on given the current situation.

"I am very happy to hear that because I think this beautiful dress will not even compare to your beauty." Your head shot to him in surprise.

"Dont get me wrong, I'm great at designing, I shine! But you, you sparkle~." His eyes gleamed as he said that.

You blushed but said nothing as some maids came in to help him put the dress on you and do your hair and primp you.

When everything was done, you looked at yourself in the mirror and your smile was so wide. For the first time in awhile you felt...worthy. Beautiful, even.
