CHAPTER 21

CARAMEL POV




    We finally reach my apartment and they carefully bring the unconscious and a dead body to the basement where we will  hold the meeting. And  tonight I’m going to witness who’s behind of all this damn drama.




 
“Nandito na po tayo, ma’am Caramel.” The driver said as he stop the car infront of my apartment.



    We all covered our face with facemask and sunglasses too, kahit may mga paparazzi ang sumunod sa amin ay hindi nila ako makikilala bilang si Caramel Gomez.



  “Paki derikta ang mga katawan na ‘yan sa lab. I’ll do some research for that body.” Doc. Drew give his men a few instructions.



  Sinunod naman nila ito at naiwan sila Caramel sa basement at doon nito enexplain kung ano ba ang nahagalap niyang impormasyon. Habang ang mga ilang tumulong sa kaniya ay agad na nag labas nang mga papel at pictures sa mga ginawa nila.



   “Looks like this is a game where you are the only player kung hindi ma–solve ang ilang puzzle in just a minute.” Agent Agnes said while trying to connect all the dot’s to finish all of this.



   “Sivilla... May not be the enemy here, Caramel.”  He added.


Napa tayo naman ako sa sinabi niya. Who would do a such thing as killing me and my whole family kung hindi ang mga Sivilla? And now hindi pala sila ang nasa likod nang lahat ng ito?


“Give me more.”  I requested.



  The report went on and it really made me shock sa mga nalaman ko. I can’t believe that they would do this to me.



I run my fingers through my hair and sigh hard feeling the air seemed so though. Hindi parin ako makapaniwala na magagawa nila sa akin ‘to. I almost treat them as my friends and family. Pero bakit?





  “Also, there’s this guy who always look up upon your social media’s.” Agent said. “Well, it’s a very nice of him when he turn down all the mouse at once.” He continue.



  I frown while looking at him ‘saka napagtanto kung sino ang taong ito. He did those thing for me? For what?


The information they discovered went on and on until they reach the peak of their journey.



   Hindi ko na muna pina uwi silang lahat dahil delikado lalo na’t nag babalak silang mag cross-dress upang hindi makilala ng iilang tao.            Her condo has a four room space that she inquire for some emergency like this. Kaya mapayapang wine–welcome niya ang ilang hinire niyang tao upang hindi malagay sa panganib ang buhay nila.



“Also, kailan ba balak na bumalik ang pamilya mo? Caramel?”  Doctor Drew ask out of nowhere.


She smiled bitterly and answered him honestly.


“Hindi ko rin alam Doc. Siguro busy sila sa bago nilang bahay.” I look at the clock after I say those words.


   It’s already 8 PM in the evening. Nagpa deliver nalang kami nang pagkain mula sa iaang fast food para hindi na ako mag luto pa.


“Caramel, I saw this article in global times. Papa mo ‘to hindi ba?” Agent Agnes hand me the ipad he’s holding at zinoom in niya ang isang litrato na mukhang ngayon lang kinuha ng camera man.



   The article says; ‘Gomez Family once again spotted at XXX mall where big names and big brands will always sell their products. Mr Gomez himself said that; “I will spend my time with my family because I can’t guess which time and day I might die.” He also added; “I will come back to the Philippines to test a new products soon.” And with that he left and didn’t say anything about his own daughter, Caramel Gomez. The young chairman and influencer of in the Philippines. People tried to question about her but it seems that Gomez family has a huge fight included Caramel herself.’

   Parang sampal sa pagkatao ko ang mga impormasyon na nabasa ko, how did my own Family did a such thing to me? Parang may anong kumurot sa dibdib ko at nagsimula nang manakit ito. Inilagay ko sa sofa ang ipad ni Agent Agnes at pinilit na kumalma, Doctor Drew help me to relax as well kaya nang kumalma na ako ay naisipan kong bumalik sa bahay upang kunin ang dapat na kunin.
