Turns out that the day prior, while they desperately attempted to rescue Stiles from the grips of the Nogitsune, the dark spirit somehow managed to take possession of the werewolves, except for Scott. So, you can guess how surprised Alistair was when Allison called, informing him how Isaac and the twins attempted to kill each other, followed by their sudden teaming up to kill her and Kira. All of it confused Alistair. I mean, first of all, Isaac woke up from the hospital and didn't even contact him, that alone raised a lot of questions, but to wake him up in a murderous mood, the Nogitsune was probably at its peak of power, or somewhere close, and that worried everyone.

Now, they found themselves in the school's showers, after all the, thanks to God, failed attempted murders. Alistair and Deaton worked tirelessly, trying to extract the flies that the Nogitsune had placed within the werewolves. Even if it didn't seem like it, it was an arduous and harrowing task.

With one hand firmly clasping Isaac's throat to prevent further resistance, as the boy's body didn't stop its squirming, Alistair's other hand delved into the boy's mouth, seeking to retrieve the intruder placed in there. "Isaac, stay still," Alistair hissed, his voice conveying a fierce determination and annoyance. The boy's attempts to resist were met with a low growl from Alistair. "I swear to God if you bite me, you'll have to pick up your teeth from the floor." The stern warning seemed to penetrate Isaac's consciousness, as he stilled with a pained and scared whimper, allowing Alistair to proceed with his delicate task.

After a few tense moments, Alistair successfully extracted the lifeless fly, disposing of it down the shower drain. Isaac, now gasping for air, gradually regained control of his body, his awareness coming back fully, though he remained visibly shaken by everything he did. Alistair offered a comforting pat on the shoulder, attempting to soothe the shaken boy.

Meanwhile, Deaton, after retrieving the flies from both twins, began recounting the events that took place at Scott's place, including the Nogitsune taking Lydia. Questions and frustrations swirled among the group as they tried to make sense of the situation.

Aiden's frustration was evident when he questioned how no one had noticed Lydia's abduction from the house. Alistair, his tone tinged with sarcasm, responded wryly, "Well, most of us were captivated by the perturbing sight of a figure manifesting itself from a pile of bandages."

The tense atmosphere was defused slightly by Kira's uncertain inquiry, "Wait. And how do we know which Stiles is which?"

Deaton's response was short but gloomy, underscoring the urgency of the situation, "Well, that's what we need to find out."

Alistair arrived at the Sheriff's station alongside Stiles and Scott, each with their own purpose. The boys planned to speak with the sheriff, while Alistair wanted to update his father on the events of the day, and everything related to the Nogitsune.

Stepping into the station, Alistair's eyes caught sight of a young man who seemed to be in his early twenties, with blonde hair and a boyish charm that immediately appealed to him. Their eyes locked in an enchanting trance, momentarily causing him to forget his actual destination. Driven by an inexplicable force, Alistair found himself drawn towards the stranger, unable to resist the pull, walking up to him.

Stopping in front of the unknown deputy, Alistair was momentarily lost for words, his rational thoughts momentarily fried by the captivating presence of the man.

The soothing tone of the deputy's voice further heightened the enchantment, leaving Alistair momentarily speechless. "Can I help you with something?"

After gathering his thoughts, Alistair managed to muster, "I'm-I'm looking for my father," attempting to regain control of the situation. The stranger's presence had temporarily scrambled his usual composure, and he felt the urge to excuse himself to avoid any further embarrassment. However, before he could retreat, his father emerged from his office, looking confused by the proximity between Alistair and the deputy. "Al? "What are you doing here?"
