With a warm smile, I bid farewell to my students, marking the end of our online class.

My name is Carmela, and I am an elementary school teacher in our charming little town. It's been, what, four months since the pandemic struck? Considering the ongoing restrictions, we have resorted to online teaching methods to ensure that our children's education continues uninterrupted.

As I power down my monitor, a sense of sadness washes over me, and tears well up in my eyes. It is disheartening to realize that not all children have the means to access online education.

I felt a surge of excitement as my beloved Lola, who despite the visible signs of aging on her face, remained stunning in my eyes, placed a Hershey's Creamy Milk Chocolate bar beside me. With a warm smile and a mischievous wink, she switched on our radio, filling the room with the infectious beats of a classic disco tune.

As we savored the delectable chocolate bar, she gently grasped my hands and invited me to dance with her, reminiscent of carefree children dancing in the rain.

The memories of our childhood years flooded my mind, as my siblings and I often found ourselves indulging in nostalgic conversations. We would lovingly reminisce about the days when we were young, playing in the backyard, completely absorbed in our beloved local games. Our laughter would echo through the air as we danced joyfully in the rain, our faces adorned with silly expressions.

Indeed, happiness is a choice that can manifest wherever you desire it to be.
