Only You

Chapter 8

Taehyung was getting ready to go to his parent's house in Seoul. It was Friday evening.  He came straight home from work only to get ready in a rush. Jeongguk was ironing their outfits. He already filled up both their luggage, and now they only have to dress up. If they start the journey at sharp six PM they could reach the destination around eleven. 

"Gguk, my dress?" Tae yelled from upstairs.  He had his bath and came out wrapped in a long white towel.

" On it. Coming." He was already approaching him by the stairs holding the neatly ironed shirt and pants on the coat hanger.

" Aren't you gonna bath?"

"I already did in the morning.  Most probably I will take a shower when I reach there too."

"Midnight showers are disgusting." The older male scuffed while holding his shirt.

" As if you never shower at midnight whenever we had sex." saying that the younger placed the pants on his husband's shoulder and proceeded to go downstairs. Taehyung glared at him and pouted then. He indeed hated midnight showers. But he will not take the risk to sleep with sticky fluids embracing them after sex. They continued their work and the clock strikes on six.

" Shall we go?"

" Yep. I'm ready. You go open the trunk and I will come with the backpack." The brunette replied.

After placing the luggage inside they got inside the car and departed. Both were humming the songs from the radio on the trip and small chit chats too.

"So, are you going for an outing with that Yoongi guy?"

" No Tae. I'm not." He lied.

" Mm." The golden-haired male hummed with clear satisfaction and continued.

" Well, I can take leave if you want to go for an outing. I don't mind. I will join you for an outing on Monday as you wish."

" No tae. Please don't take leave for that.  I can manage. We can go for another weekend. I don't wish to go on Monday." He lied again. And surprisingly he doesn't feel guilty about it.  Maybe it's because he badly wants to hang out with his best friend who left him years ago. So he is very much willing to take the risk.

"Okay, If that is what you want. And also baby, Mom will definitely ask that question again. So what will you say?"

" Same as usual," Brunette said with a sigh.

" Yeah? But this time if she brings the kids topic again please say that I don't like kids and don't let you have kids. Okay? So they won't question you again for that. They would only turn to me. But I can manage. "

" Tae stop. I don't want you to handle all that shit like that. We both don't want to be parents for our own reasons.  You don't like kids in our relationship in the first place which is your excuse and I am not ready to be a parent at this young age, that is my explanation. We both will deal with this together and not you alone." Jeongguk exclaimed and the elder sighed.

" Even if they insist on us they still adore you gguk, no matter what."

" I know.......Tae. I know. I love her too.  And I can see why the pressure. You are their only son. So it's natural for them to worry about you. "

"yeah?" He chuckled.

" yeah."The older leaned to peck his temple and took his right palm in his hand to kiss on the knuckles. Jeongguk smiled and continued to stare out of the car window.

Due to heavy traffic, they reached their destination around twelve. The brunette was the first one to get out and move towards the trunk to take the backpack. Taehyung got out of the car and stretched his body with a loud yawn. That's when they notice all the lights getting on outside the mansion.
