Can we be more than friends again?

Y/n's POV

Its been 2 weeks since Jack's injury and he's out of the hospital. Sara told me they broke up and she said that they are good now and things really working out.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get Jack out of his abusive household, his parents didn't even bother to visit they were out partying and drinking alcohol. I would let him stay at my place but I'm not sure my mum and "dad" will allow it. They already have 2 children to take care of and another one on the way. I don't think they would allow Jack to stay with us.

I get to school with Gavin and see Jack with a cut on his head and I notice Charli smirking at us, I have a feeling she did something not to mention the fact that she got back with Landon and Landon was the one to injure Jack.

*bell ringing* we get to class and me and Louis sit next to eachother "Hey y/n wanna hang out after school?" Louis says "sure! Sorry we haven't been hanging out much!" I say then kiss him on the cheek "it's okay!" Louis says.

Skip to lunch break

It was lunchbreak and as I was getting my food Charli was right behind me "MOVE IT!" Charli says. I just ignore her and continue getting my food. When I got done getting my food I walked away and Charli glared at me, but I obviously ignored her.

I sat down with the group and Jack was really quiet, I think he's still not feeling that well because of his injury or because of his parents...not to mention the fact that he has a black eye.

"Jack when did you get a black eye?" Jake says "I-I must have got it from the ball that hit me, it did hit me pretty hard!" Jack says. I look at him and he looks like he's about to cry.

Skip to after school

was getting my stuff from my locker until I hear a voice "Hey, listen y/n I need to talk please, it's important!" Jack says softly "okay..but make it quick!" I say "the day that I got injured...when I was in the locker room I overhead Charli and Landon's argument.." Jack says "Okay...what was it?" I say "Charli threatened Landon to injure me!" Jack says.

I was trying to process what he just said, I was right this whole time I knew Charli was suspicious! "WHAT! I knew she was up to something, do we contact the police?" I say "I don't know but i think we should!" Jack says "Y/n, are you ready?" Louis says "just wait for a minute or two, I'll be there I promise!" I say then kiss him on the cheek.

Louis goes back to his car waiting patiently. "Listen y/-" Jack says then I cut him off "is this about your parents..?" I whisper "No...this is actually about you.." Jack says "me??" I say "yea.." Jack says "Okay...what is it?" I say "can we get back together?.." Jack says.

I was trying to process what he just said, he wanted to get back together..."Jack..." I say "I understand if you dont want to get back together.." Jack says " it's not that...I-I I already have a boyfriend" I say.

Suddenly we get closer and closer and accidentally kiss "I-I didn't mean to sor-" Jack says then gets cut off "wow.." I hear a voice behind us after we accidentally kiss..I see it was Louis and he walks away "Louis..wait!" I say "we're over! You cheated on me!" Louis says "it was an accident!" I say " an accident? When ever someone says it's an accident it's not!" Louis says

Jack comes to the scene "Louis it was an accident really it was!" Jack says "fuck this...I'm going home, have fun with your new boyfriend y/n?" Louis says "I'm going home!" I say.

Jack's POV

The reason I wanted to get back together with y/n was because I still had feelings for her but I didn't actually want to get back together. My dad calls me a fag because I don't have a girlfriend and when I first got together with y/n, my parents were actually proud of me.

My parents said that they only want me to get together with y/n but I failed and I'm not gonna let them boss me around anymore.
