"We should probably get up now Emma." Rhea says as she kisses Emma's cheek.

They've been lying there for hours. Mostly in silence. Emma smiles and nods.

"Yeah we should get to the arena." She replies.

Rhea smiles and lets her go before standing. She makes her way to the bathroom to get changed. Emma gets up and grabs some fresh clothes from her backpack to put on. When she finishes and looks up, she smiles seeing Demi leaning against the wall looking back at her.

"I take it we're all okay again?" Demi asks.

"We're okay." Emma replies with a nod.

Demi smiles and holds out a hand. Emma throws her backpack over her shoulder and walks to Demi, taking her hand. She follows her out of the hotel and they decide to walk to the venue since it's so close.

As soon as they round the corner, Demi lets go of Emma's hand. Emma frowns slightly and looks over at her but she doesn't notice. Demi opens the door for her and she walks in, thanking her as she passes.

Emma is just about to say something when Demi gives her a quick smile and walks away towards the women's locker room.

"What the hell was that?" Emma mumbles before making her way to the employee locker room.

She puts her backpack in a locker and wraps the coiled wristlet with the key on it around her wrist. Emma makes her way to Triple H and he smiles at her, handing her a clipboard as usual.

"Before you start we need to talk about Ripley." He says.

Emma raises an eyebrow.

"What about her?" She asks.

"Are you seeing her?"

The blunt question takes Emma by surprise and she stumbles over her words, trying to find the right ones. Is she seeing her? They've never talked about making it official. They've been intimate. A lot. But that doesn't mean Rhea wants to see her see her. But Demi did take her on a date.

"Emma?" Triple H interrupts her thoughts.

"Um. Yeah I guess you could say I am." She replies, pushing some hair behind her ear awkwardly.

He nods and looks down at his phone that just buzzed in his hand. Shaking his head, he quickly types something before looking back up.

"There's not really any rules for employees dating the athletes. But be careful with Rhea. She's one of our main superstars at the moment. I don't want her distracted. Like she was yesterday. I heard what happened between you two. Well. That she attacked you anyway." He corrects.

"No! No she didn't attack me that was an accident." Emma says.

Triple H raises an eyebrow.

"An accident? That ended in a concussion and stitches." He says.

"It was barely a concussion and it really was an accident. Rhea wouldn't hurt a fly intentionally you know that." Emma defends.

Triple H nods and shrugs before saying, "Well regardless. Just be careful and don't let her head get off track. She's an important asset I need her focused."

With that, he pats Emma's shoulder and walks away. Emma sighs and rubs at her temples. What is he trying to say? That Emma is a distraction? That she'll keep Rhea from reaching her full potential within the company?

Emma turns and walks down the hall, looking at her clipboard when she bumps into someone. She groans and curses at herself before looking up. A small sad smile crosses her face when she sees it was Damian.

"Sorry about that." She speaks softly.

Damian raises an eyebrow.

"Are you alright?" He asks.

Emma shrugs and checks his name off the list. Then checks off Natalya as she passes by them.

"I'm fine." Emma replies in a lie.

"That's not true. You have a terrible poker face." He says before adding, "I heard what Triple H said. Don't stress about him okay? He's just trying to look out for Rhea. Even if it comes off as bad as it just did."

"It's just what if he's right and I am just a distraction for her? She doesn't deserve to have her career be ruined on account of me." Emma sighs.

"You? Ruin her career? Princesa, you wouldn't ruin her career. And you're not a distraction either. You take care of her. Make sure she's on time, resting, okay after her matches. Things you've always done for all of us, only now you're doing it even better. You're always with her so if anything you're keeping her on track. He doesn't know that. But I do. And she does."

He nods over Emma's shoulder. She turns and sees Rhea walking down the hall in her gear. She has no makeup on, but the focused look in her eyes is definitely Rhea. She smiles when she makes eye contact with Emma, though. Something Emma won't get used to seeing from her.

She turns back to tell Damian thank you, but he's already walking away. Emma feels a strong arm wrapping around her shoulders and she smiles, looking to her side at Rhea.

"Ready to have some fun out there?" Emma says.

"Hell yeah I am." Rhea replies.

"Can I ask you something first?" Emma asks as they start walking down the hall, her checking off names as she sees people.

"Of course." Rhea says.

"Why did you..or uh..Demi let go of my hand before we got inside?" Emma asks and looks over at her.

Rhea stops walking and looks at her.

"She's worries about what management will say."

"Oh was it supposed to be a secret?" Emma asks, her face turning red nervously.

"Not exactly. She just doesn't know how to bring it up. I can talk to Triple H after the match though." Rhea says.

"Well he kind of already knows now." Emma says.

She explains everything when Rhea raises a brow and she laughs a little when Emma finishes.

"Priest is right. You're not a distraction. Well. Not a bad one anyway."

Rhea leans close to Emma, puts her mouth to her ear and whispers, "though I do still think about the day I left you in a puddle on my dressing room vanity. Meet me back there after the match."

A chill sends down Emma's spine at her words and Rhea chuckles before stepping back. She walks backwards as her entrance music starts to play. Emma watches as she licks her teeth and flicks her tongue off of them before winking, turning, and walking out.
