Rose never thought that Roman and herself would become best friends but she wanted to be more. She loves him. Every time they'd walk side by side their hands always found a way to touch each other's. Every night she would change herself and grow deeper in love with him. She wants to love him until it hurts and leaks. She wants to die for a love, a love so deep, forever love takes and plays for keeps.
Love. Just thinking about that Rose was scared. She knew it somehow wasn't possible because despite all the romance books she would read some part would always have heartbreak and how it shatters you in pieces.
Eventually she had gathered enough courage to tell her mom about her love for Roman. She also mentioned she was scared and her mother would reply " Dear don't be afraid of love its only magic." And with a big smile Rose exited the room.
At school she often didn't participate in class. She was very reticent. Mr. Jared, her literature teacher didn't like that and had given her the privilege of being the singer in the role of 'Romeo and Juliet'. Upon hearing this news she was terrified because singing was her hidden talent. She wasn't ready to share that with more than half of her village. She wanted to keep her emotions to herself.
Emotions that she expressed in her singing.
When the day came for Rose's time in the spotlight, she was nervous. Her mom was beyond excited for this and even went further by putting on a little makeup and straightening her hair.
Getting ready, Rose went up on stage in front the mic and poured her heart out. Roman watched her from the crowd and fell in love with her all over again. Her voice was like silk, pouring out like a river. Her words would cause her tongue to glide beautifully over her perfect teeth and emit an adorable bit of air.
The song she sang was like poetry, a rhythmical creation of beauty in words.
