I headed up the paths to the Kamisato Estate, hearing the leaves ruffle in the soft cool breeze. I could feel the wind billowing through my silky white hair. I took a deep breath, and knocked quickly on the grand doors of the Kamisato Estate. Almost instantly, the door swung open, and standing before me was a tall boy, with shaggy blonde hair, bright emerald green eyes, and a warm expression on his soft face. He smiled at me cheerfully; waving his hand in a friendly way. I smiled softly, meeting his eyes. "Glad you decided to show up, Kazuha!" Thoma said to me, sounding joyful. I smiled softly again, not saying anything. I just nodded. He sure looks well dressed... I hope my kimono is formal enough for this... I thought to myself. Thoma smiled again, and tilted his head. He seemed to expect me to say something. "Alright. Come with me." He said respectfully. He nodded at me, then we began to step out on the courtyard. I took a deep breath as the breeze ruffled my hair once more. I didn't know why, but as we walked, the closer I got to Yoimiya's gathering, my heart and chest started to feel tense. What if the people wouldn't know how to talk to me? What if they thought of me differently? Thoma then put his arm on my shoulder. "Kazuha? Are you okay there bud?" I stared back at him, sort of surprised. "Oh! Uh- yes. I am alright. Don't worry about me." I whispered softly. I sighed again quietly. I then noticed the bright lights, and movements in the direction of Amakane Island. We were walking on the beach that merely connected it to Narukami island. I could hear voices, traditional Inazuman music being played, and people dancing and moving gracefully. I took a deep breath. Im ready. I quickly stepped into the surroundings, and saw shimmering lights, colors, plants and lanterns. Yoimiya was giggling and laughing with some others, holding a drink in one hand. Ayaka was dancing with her fan, in an elegant fashion. There were so many people here, and everything was bright and colorful. I stared at silently at the party, sort of nervous to approach any further. Thoma stared at me curiously again. "Kazuha? Are you sure you're alright?" He asked with concern. I sighed, turning my eyes. "Yeah..." I whispered quietly. I took a deep breath, and walked into the terrace. Yoimiya instantly noticed me, her eyes sparkling excitedly. "You came!" She exclaimed. I smiled nervously. Yoimiya smiled again cheerfully. "Want to meet my friends?" She asked me. I nodded. I might as well just try. "Alright, where are they?" I asked her. Yoimiya smiled, and pointed to a small area with a view of the seaside and a few tables and small seats. I could see three figures there. One was a girl, taller than me, with a shimmering dress and blue hair. It must've been Ayaka. The other was a taller girl, with a mask, and a ninja-like outfit. And the last one.. was a boy, a bit taller than me, with a shaggy mullet, a tight tank top, and emerald green eyes. I couldn't help but notice he looked quite fit. He looked so confident in himself, his body language suggesting so. I stared at him for a few more moments, before taking a deep breath, and walking over to them. The three instantly turned their faces towards me. I smiled softly. "Hi there.." I whispered softly. The girl with the green hair and the mask smiled and nodded at me. Ayaka smiled brightly, and the boy put his hand on his hip, and reached out his hand. I looked up at him, slightly nervous. He smiled. "You must be Kaedehara Kazuha. I've heard so much about you..." he whispered. I felt my face grow warm. He knows about me? He seems so interested... I thought curiously. He smiled again. I smiled back hesitantly. His hand was still reached out, seeming like he wanted me to shake it. I reluctantly put my hand in his, and he shook it respectfully. "Gotta say, you're  even cuter in person.." he whispered as he barked a laugh. I couldn't help but feel my face flush red. What did he just say? I thought, confused. What did he mean by that? Ayaka scoffed. "Heizou, quit making him uncomfortable. Be normal for once!" She sighed, rolling her eyes. Heizou? Like... The Shikanoin Heizou? The most famous detective in Inazuma? But... wasn't I a wanted "criminal" under his commission? Couldn't he just arrest me? My mind echoed nervously. Was it really him? I gasped. I couldn't believe he was  Yoimiya's so called friend. Heizou tilted his head at me curiously. "You okay there bud?" He asked. My eyes went wide. "Oh! Definitely!" I yelped. That was embarrassing.. I thought to myself. Heizou laughed. "Don't worry, I'm really glad to meet you. I've heard so many things, and I couldn't wait to finally know you, Kazuha." He spoke, smiling with a genuine look on his face. I felt flattered. Why is he acting so.... Friendly? I must be at least enemy number 5 on their list.... I thought with disbelief. How odd. I was expecting people to view me as "weird" or "strange"or a "fugitive of the law" but instead... it seemed quite the opposite. I gazed into Heizou's emerald green eyes once more. They seemed to sparkle immensely, as if he was excited but the expression on his face said different. The girl with the mask and the green hair nodded at me respectfully. "I'm Kuki Shinobu, it's a pleasure to meet ya." She said to me. I shook her hand gently as well. Yoimiya's friends seemed like genuine people. But... what if it's a trick... I thought cautiously. Heizou turned to me again, that same sparkling look in his eyes. He had a slight smirk on his face. I couldn't help but be curious as to why he was trying to be so... what was the word... charming.
He then pulled himself closer to me, and it made my heart do a little jump. "So... I heard you were an amazing samurai." He whispered, sounding quite curious and interested. I nodded. "Yes- I have a lot of practice in Inazuman sword arts." I replied. Why is so curious? Am I really that special to him? Does he just want to get to know me so he can turn me in? I thought, mildly confused. Heizou then looked down at the blade strapped to my back. He eyed it with great awe. "So, care to show us what you can do?" He asked slyly. Shinobu glared at him. "Why so sudden? Can't we just talk?" She said to Heizou. Heizou sighed. "Oh well. I guess you're too tired to show us- that's alright." He said, sounding slightly disappointed. The grin disappeared from his face. I didn't know why, but part of me wanted to show him I indeed could do it, and no I wasn't too tired. "No, no, please, I will show you..." I whispered softly.
I hope they aren't too experienced in sword art. I am very skilled at it, but it would be embarrassing for them to find flaws in my swordfighting... I thought nervously. I took a deep breath. "Follow me." I whispered. I turned my gaze to a small clearing, with some bamboo around the edges. The grass was thin and quite matted, perfect for practicing with a sword. They all nodded, slowly following me. I turned back to them. They all looked so curious, eager, and excited to see me fight. I inhaled once more. Here it goes. I unsheathed my blade.

🔅Heizou's POV🔅

The albino boy with the maple patterns unsheathed his glimmering blade. His robes billowed in the wind as he stood tall and majestic. He glided majestically across the grass, slashing and weaving his blade as if he was battling the wind. His frosty white hair whipped and waved in the wind, in sync with his bladework. He swerved and twirled and almost seemed to dance across the grass while weaving his blade into the breeze. He jumped and glided across the bamboo, slicing and knocking several over in one swift cut. He flipped his sword between his delicate fingers, rotating the blade in the most majestic pattern. He then bowed low to the ground, sheathing his blade swiftly. He gazed up at the moon, and then, to me.

I was at a loss for words. What he did wasn't just bladework- it was like a stunning deadly dance. It was incredible. He is so talented. No wonder he was able to face the Shogun's Musou no Hitotatchi. I knew he was a criminal of the Tenryo Commission, but he didn't seem all to much like a bad guy. I didn't understand why it was so easy to forget about that.
I gazed at his movements once more.
I cupped my hand over my mouth. This was extraordinary. He was magically talented with a blade, so much so it was hard to believe he was just a young traveler with a blade. I was in pure awe. I gazed into his ruby red eyes, completely astonished.
Kazuha stared at me, his big ruby colored eyes seeming to look slightly nervous. "Was this what you wanted to witness?" The albino boy asked softly. I hesitated, still trying to comprehend how talented he was.

🍁Kazuha's POV🍁

Heizou kept staring at me, with his piercing emerald gaze. His hand cupped his mouth. I was starting to get nervous. The rest of the group seemed more at ease than he was. I hoped they liked my bladework.... I hope he liked my bladework... I thought, hoping it was true. I stared at them in silence for a few more moments. "Was this what you wanted to witness?" I asked nervously. They said nothing. Heizou then stood up. He had a very astonished look on his face. "Uh- Yes? Was it not obvious? You were amazing. It's the best bladework I've seen in Inazuma... heck, the best bladework I've ever seen." Heizou blurted out loudly. I stood frozen in shock. My face turned a bright shade of red. My eyes went wide. Did he really mean that? Was he really that impressed with me? I thought, still hardly able to believe it. I locked eyes with Heizou for a few more moments, and it seemed like everything was frozen In time. I didn't know why... but I was feeling something greater than I ever had before. Knowing that someone thought I was this talented made my heart jump. And not only that... it was Shikanoin Heizou. I sighed, almost overwhelmed by the immense joy I was feeling in that moment. I gazed into Heizou's emerald eyes. "Thank you... thank you so much..." I whispered softly, unable to meet his gaze no longer. Ayaka and Shinobu started bowing in respect. "Wonderful!" Said Ayaka, smiling at me. I smiled back. Shinobu gave me a thumbs-up. "I gotta say kid, you're quite the sword master." She said respectfully. I couldn't stop smiling. Heizou then looked at me once more, his piercing emerald gaze locked on me. "I know I just met you, but I have a feeling you are super important to this story." Heizou whispered under his breath.
