disclaimer all the titles in this fic sound like they came from a romantic kdrama lol

gojo writes a (totally ironic) love poem for geto, and they eat some stuff from convenience stores after :)

-boredom leads to love?-

gojo picked up his pen yet again, trying to think of another poem. why was he writing poems, you ask? for his one and only, suguru geto.

well, technically, they werent official or anything, and yeah, maybe geto did think they were ironic, but shut up. gojo thought.

it had started about a week and a few days ago, when he started writing geto love poems daily. he was bored in his room one day, sitting straight up on his bed with a spare piece of paper.

his phone was being repaired, so no time wasting. he had already finished all his books, he didnt feel like gaming yet (he had quite the bad losing streak right now) and it was still just 4 pm.

he picked up the blank paper, and plopped down. laying on his bed, he held the piece of paper up, and thought about what to do as he closed his eyes. using his imagination, he had a new idea, involving this piece of paper, his best friend, and one of his strongest emotions.

he opened his eyes, and turned to face the window that was close to his bed. he lived in a small apartment, with white walls, and a little bit of a gaming setup as his desk. well, he didnt stream or anything, he just liked video games. and the meme, 'he's not hacking he just has a good gaming chair'. it was sunset now, the sky pastel like cotton candy. he got up from the comfy bed, grabbed a pen from his desk, and began writing.

-this game reminded me of you-

the poem was going smoothly. he had written quite a few lines, and he kept going, occasionally stopping to sharpen his pencil. he was gonna add a lil drawing in the corner, even if he sucked at drawing. (as much as he didnt wanna admit it.) but then, he hit a wall.

he didnt know what to write next, so he got up, stretched a bit, and walked around his room. it looked like it had been a while by now, and the sky was starting to look azure. he went to his couch with a few bags of groceries surrounding it, and pulled out some cup noodles.

before eating that, though, he decided to play something. anything. he grabbed his nintendo switch to play something quick, and saw he was in splatoon 3. he was ready to try ending his losing streak.

he played a game of turf war, and killed a few people. his team won, (thankfully) and then he remembered a round of splatoon 3 he played with geto. but before that, he logged off splatoon, and jumped back to his piece of paper. he scribbled down some ideas down before picking his cup noodles up and opening them.

-memories and cup noodles-

he put down his hot cup noodles, careful not to spill them, and peeled the lid off completely. he had chosen curry this time, a new flavor he hadnt tried, and one that geto told him to try. he thought back to when he went to the convenience store, family mart, and bought them.

"hmm, what flavor do i get?" gojo asked geto, he wanted something new. something different. "wait, your telling me you need help picking cup noodles?" geto chuckled at him. "hey, i am a cup noodles connoisseur. ive already eaten most of these." gojo said.

he didnt get what geto didnt understand. he is a broke teenager and hes come to respect cup noodles. geto sighed, and said, "well, if you really are looking for something, i recommend the curry cup noodles. most people dont know about them, but they are good."

gojo picked up one of them, and examined it. it looked good. he put it in his basket. "..what else should i get?" gojo thought out loud. he wasnt just gonna come to family mart to buy a singular cup noodles.

he walked over to the snacks section, and saw some family mart brand edamame bean snacks. as he picked them off the shelf, he was interrupted. "oh, those are good." geto said. "really?" gojo questioned him. "welp, ill get some." he dropped the bag of beans in his basket.

then, he walked over to the onigiri section, and bought his favorite, shrimp tempura onigiri. a classic. gojo saw some pudding, and put that into his bag too. a treat for later.

unbeknownst to gojo, geto had seen him getting pudding, so he walked over to him, and got some matcha pudding.

wow. gojo thought. these cup noodles are good. he slurped some more noodles as he thought. he sighed, he wanted to do something. maybe he could go to getos house, and deliver his poem to him.

he looked to his grocery bag besides him, and pulled out his edamame bean snacks. he laid them on the couch, next to the grocery bag, and kept eating his cup noodles. he thought, geto was right. these are great.

gojo ate the last of his cup noodles, and went back to working on his poem. with some newfound inspiration from splatoon 3, he was ready.

gojo didnt want it to be too long, and plus, the sky was quite dark now. he wrote his extra lines with his pencil, and finished his poem. he held it up, read it over once again, and smiled.

its perfect. he thought.
