It's a blissful beauty to write over music louder than your own thoughts. Being drunk isn't a feeling you can personify or create a metaphor to explain, it's the kind of thumping dizziness that leaves every author unable to write- so the moment is captured in an after gaze, and is never as true as one might hope to write about. A memory susceptible to romanticisation or vilification. Whatever it may be it's a blissful beauty to struggle to read what I've written the next day, a puzzle for me to decipher.
