Johns wedding

Today was the day of Johns wedding.The thing is Evelyn didn't even know John was getting married.Evelyn only found out this morning when Tommy came into her room with a dress in his hand telling her to put it on because there's a wedding.

Polly was snapping her fingers in front of the girl who just came out of her trance. "Sorry Pol" Evelyn said to her Aunt. "Evelyn did you do it" Polly questioned her niece "Do what aunt Pol" The girl said in a low tone " Did you leave him" Polly questioned Evelyn just stayed quiet.

She was never good at keeping secrets it's a wonders she has kept her and Isiah a secret for so long. "Can we talk after this please" Evelyn said to her Aunt next to her before Tommy came over with John and Arthur. "She better be under fifty" John said to Tommy and Arthur as he made his way up the isle.

Them words kept repeating in Evelyn's head she couldn't help but feel bad for her brother he doesn't even know who he's getting married to. Evelyn was quickly snapped out of her trance when someone came and sat next to Tommy.Then she noticed it was Ada her big sister the person she has never missed more.

She beamed at her older sister and her sister beamed back at her.John turned around and smirked at Tommy when he saw his new wife. Evelyn shook her head at her brother antics.

It was now the time of the party and Evelyn had been dancing with her older sister.Evelyn has snook off with Isiah behind one of the wagons.The two were pushed up against the wagons kissing and pulling aging up against each other.

Until Evelyn heard her name being called she quickly pulled away from Isiah's grip on her lips not wanting to get caught by her brothers.

Later that night Ada had her baby while all the boys went off to the pub but Tommy said it was safe for Freddy to come and see his newborn son but except he was pulled away from his son and wife by the police despite Evelyn and Esme's chants and yells.

Polly and Evelyn were walking under an umbrella down the road with a basket of food in Polly hand as they put down the umbrella and shook it off the two women made their way up the stairs but were welcomed with the basket of food they had left last week except now the food was rotten.

"Ada it's just us" Polly said as she knocked on the door "Think about the baby Ada" Polly told the new mother behind the door. With no response the two ladies walked back down to Watery lane but this time their heads were held low with disappointment.

As they got in the door and walked in the kitchen Polly placed the basket of rotten food in front of Tommy. "Did you tell her" he asked his aunt "I'll only say what I know is to be true" Polly said not even looking at him while filling up the kettle. Evelyn didn't dare to speak and disturb the two's conversation.

"For the last time I didn't shop Freddy Thorn" Tommy told his aunt once again but this time his head in his hands. "Then who did Thomas" his aunt argued with him. "I don't know" Thomas tried to plead with her But Polly just walked out of the room. "You stay" Thomas told Evelyn as she went to follow her aunt.

"One of the Lee lads said they seen you behind a wagon at the wedding yesterday" Tommy told her. Evelyn's stomach turned what if he found out it was Isiah what was she going to do then. "Not alone either" he added "who is it" Thomas asked his sister. "I don't know what your talking about" Evelyn said to him before he could speak again Evelyn quickly added "I told Harry I would help him in the pub"

"You've been telling Harry a lot haven't you" Tommy told his sister "But he tells me you haven't been there to help in a while" Evelyn just stood there she had been caught and her brothers are going to do whatever they do to have Isiah head on a silver player once they find out it's him she has been sneaking off with.

"It's none of your business" Evelyn told her brother as she began to walk out "you know what Evelyn it is my fucking business when your sneaking off with a lad and kissing him behind a fucking wagon" Tommy shouted at her as she walked out of the room.
