"Your going."
The words rang through my head for the millionth time. My mother had insisted I go to this stupid camp called Mayhem Falls. The camp sounded like more trouble than I did.
I was not proud of some of the things I had done. It wasn't my fault that the councilor had pissed me to the max. I couldn't take the, your much different than most of my other clients, talk. I had heard it over and over again.
How my clothing was different. How my everything was different. The only thing that was normal was my hair. She would go on and on about how my eyes were different.
That's what provoked me to punch her. Though my fist didn't collide with her face. She told my mother who decided to send me to a god awful summer camp for juvenile freaks.
The worst thing was when I got on the bus everybody looked more freaky than me. Some had eyes like me that made me mad because I thought I was special. Others had freaky dyed hair. Some had weird piercings. Others looked like death. But the one that stuck out the most was a boy with eyes exactly like mine. Black as midnight, but mine changed when I got mad. My mom said it was something to do with a birth effect.
One girl was talking to herself. Talking in a monotone chant that sounded like she was summoning the devil. Okay her no. There were seats open because there was only 13 of us. Some camp. only thirteen freaks.
We arrived like two hours later, but being that far away from my house was a good thing. My mother fought with me 24/7 lately, but that was besides the point.
As we arrived I noticed this camp was different. It looked like a training camp, like hardcore freaky.
Maybe I got on the wrong bus. This place looked like a military camp.
We were shooed off the bus, leaving our stuff behind.
"Wow this place looks like a training camp, not happy fun summer camp," a girl who looked the most normal said.
"Yeah it does," I replied.
She stuck out her hand, "Mona."
I shook her hand, "Alaina."
"Well Alaina, I think we are going to be great friends," she said and smiled.
I actually liked this girl, even though she was a little quirky. She seemed like a nice girl.
"Hello campers," a cheerful voice came from a woman, "my name is Rachel, and I bet your wondering why your at this camp. Right now this will all be new for you, but the next thing I tell you will make you understand why your different. Why you question your life. Does anyone have any questions?"
Mona was the first to speak, "why does this look like a damn training camp?"
Rachel hit her back with words, "it looks like a damn training camp because it is a damn training camp."
Mona replied again, "then we are here because?"
"This isn't just any training camp. It's a supernatural training camp," she said.
A what?
"A what?" I asked.
"Yes this is a supernatural training camp. All of you are either witches, werewolves, vampires, or something more. Now I know this is new but we need to start right away."
Everybody just stared at her. No one was freaking out. Some seemed like they new. Others seemed scared. More seemed puzzled.
"Let's start with Witches, Ellie May,
Dean Willson,
Mona Hunters,
Andy Freeman,
