The R.A.D. Council Room
8:25am
Tuesday 4th September.
I sit up suddenly with a gasp, like I'd just been submerged in water. I frantically look around, my panic quickly fading and being replaced with confusion. This wasn't my bedroom. Why am I on the floor? I look over to my left, before gasping. Levi! I quickly crawl over and examine my child in a newfound fear. I look over him, making sure he's uninjured. Footsteps echo behind me as I continue to check my adopted child. The footsteps stop behind me and I rush to my feet, picking up my cane and pointing it threateningly at the figure.
"Who the fuck are you?!"
"Ah, I see you're awake. If you wouldn't mind putting the cane down, I'll be right back with Lord Diavolo to explain everything."
I hesitantly put down my cane using it to lower myself back down to Levi, beginning to shake him awake gently.
"Oi, Levi. Wake up. Levi.. LEVI WAKE THE FUCK UP!"
I smack him across the face, watching him jerk awake.
"Owww. Motherfucker, that hurt like hell!"
"Bitch we are in hell!" My voice is hushed as I try not to panic the 16 year old.
Unfortunately, my caution doesn't matter as Levi starts to scream, causing me to sigh.
It takes me twenty minutes to calm him down, seven demons walking in as the whole ordeal takes place.
"Levi if you don't shut up, I'm giving your pizza to the dog!"
He stops screaming immediately, instead gasping with a hurt look on his face.
"You. Wouldn't. Dare."
"Oh. Yes. I. Would."
Levi huffs before sitting up, looking away from me.
"Sometimes I hate you, father."
"Sure you do." I stand up and hold my hand to help him up.
The demons are looking at the pair of us in confusion as Levi takes my hand, standing behind me for protection.
"Now that Lydia has-"
"That's Levi to you."
"Right, right, sorry. Now that Levi has calmed down we may begin introductions."
