It was nearing the end of summer and a tornado warning had just been alerted, the family was gathering up food, water, entertainment, and light sources just incase the tornado was to touch ground, the clouds were dark as the once sunny day was now destroyed. You stuck close to Bubba as he looked outside from inside, "Bubba, it's not safe to be so close to the window, we need to head down" You clung to his arm and gently tugging at it. He peered down at you and soon followed as he helped gathered his parents and siblings down to the basement. The light was turned on and all the meat was pushed to one corner so you all could fit down there, the air grew heavy as your ears popped, the light flickered then soon flickering off. It was dead silent, so silent that it hurt. You felt your heart race as not knowing what was going on outside made your mind go crazy. You heard the boys giggle softly but took no mind to it, soft crackling of dirt being moved was heard behind you, what were they doing? Before you knew it a strong pair of hands clung to you as Bubba let out a "RAWR!" You screamed in fear as the light soon turned on, "You guys are such idiots!" You hissed.
