The orphanage

The misunderstanding

-sage POV-
I slowly woke up and was greeted by that boy from earlier and he was really close to my face and I quickly jumped up from fright and quick sat up in my bed and adjusted my hair to look less messy
"What are you doing in here?!"
I shouted at him still half asleep
"This is my room too..."
I heard him calmly reply to me with a half smile on his face while he stood up properly from leaning over so he and I weren't face to face
"I came to wake you up to get dinner"
He said still with a half smile on which.."he is kinda cute but I'm not here to find cute boys! I want to be out of here as quick as possibly!" I reassured my self and got out of bed to go have dinner with the others

I grabbed a hair tie from my bed side cabinet and tied my hair up into a small ponytail and ahead off downstairs, the walk downstairs was really awkward stuck with a boy I don't know who is a little creepy, so to make it less awkward for the both of us I decided to ask him a few questions
" So ..uh heh I never asked you what your name was? Hehe ..."
I asked him awkwardly smiling at him
"...Artemis.."
He replied quietly back while he was looking blankly at where he was walking
" heh...nice name.."
I awkwardly looked away again expecting him to ask me the same question, But he never asked...something tells me he might already know..?. Soon after a long walk that seemed to take forever with small chat we made it to the dining room which was a large room with two big tables in it and everyone was sitting talking.

- artemis POV-
I was sitting on the side of his small bed waiting for him to wake up and I stood up to walk away so he could wake up in his own time, But I heard him move a little in his sleep and I stood next to his bed. He suddenly woke up and we were face to face
" Shit! I didn't want him to be creeped out! "
Knowing I messed up a lot he shouted at me asking what I was doing here and I was acting calm and smiled a little at him
"This is my room too"
I said to him surprised he wouldn't have guessed that by now
" I came to wake you up for dinner"
Still smiling a little and I saw him stop to think for a second and then get and tie up his hair and I walked him down stairs to the dining hall, we didn't really talk because I was trying to focus on not getting lost on my way to the dining hall like I usually do! And after a long silence I heard him quietly ask what my name is
"Artemis..."
I said still trying to focus on not getting lost because I was to act smart to impress him but knew I was failing badly, I heard him mumble something I couldn't hear clear enough to reply so I just ignored it and we made our way to the dining hall which was packed with people all talking away and I sat down with him at the large table
