Chase's POV

I was looking in the mirror getting ready to go outside when someone knocked on the door. "It's me, Lucas!" Lucas called out. 'Oh...him' I used some magic dust Lisa gave me to open the door. "I'm upstairs" I replied. My mom wasn't at home right now, so it was better for privacy because I knew stuff was about to get real. I heard him dash up. "Glad to see you're ok" he said happily, oblivious. "Glad to see you care" I glared. "Well I do and for the record I don't hate you, I..." he started but I cut him off. "You what, Lucas? You what? You hurt me like that and expect me to what? Crawl on the floor, beg for your forgiveness and hope you'll be my friend? Well I'm not that kind of person, Lucas" I snapped. I left him speechless. I sighed. "What's going on, we used to be so close. And now it's like we don't know each other." I added. He didn't say anything, but I could still tell he felt sorry. "Lucas, I love you" I sighed he looked up fast and replied "Huh?" I sighed again, rolling my eyes, gave blank face, "I said, I love you Lucas. I want to be your ma-" I started before he cut me off. "No! I love Ariya" he freaked out and I sighed again. "Lucas do you truly love Ariya?" I asked. "Yes" he said. "Then as your best friend, I hope your happy with her" I said. He looked at me shocked. "I gotta run a few errands. Goodbye Lucas, I'll see ya around" I said. I went downstairs and he followed. "Chase?" he asked. "I'm not mad Lucas, I'm okay, seriously We both left my house.

Lucas's POV

I looked back at him, and saw him walking away. I sighed. Something about the words he said haunted me. "I hope you're happy with her" a voice called. I turned around and saw Bella. She had the world's biggest smirk on her face and she was twirling her wand. It was a regular wand, save for the fact that it had a star at the end. I walked up to her. "What are you?" I asked. "It's a secret" she winked, "So how'd it go?" she added, "I don't even know" I replied. "Did you tell him how you feel?" she asked. "I don't like him, OK?" I snapped. "So what really happened?" She asked again. "None of your business" I grouched. She giggled. "Well no need to be mean, I'm only trying to help." she singsonged. "Well I don't need your help" I snapped. But she just kept giggling. "Bye Lucas" she smirked and skipped off. I got a phone call from Katie. "Hey, guess what? They're asking the 6 of us to be in a movie!" she all but squealed, excitedly "Really?" I asked in disbelief, "That's awesome, where?" I asked, not too sure if this was real. "Meet us by the big water fountain tomorrow." She informed me, "Gotcha." I confirmed, both of us hanging up.
