Lion emerges out of a portal in front of Connie's house, with Nora and Connie riding on his back and laughing. Connie then dismounts Lion.
Connie: Well.... time to assume my secret identity.
Nora: Same time next week for sword training?
Connie: Yeah. It's a shame I can't practice more at home.
Nora: Hey, wait a second.
Nora jumps off of Lion and looks at him.
Nora: May I?
Lion lowers his head for Nora to get the sword from his mane. Connie gasps at what she is seeing.
Nora: Here, eth. You can borrow my mother's sword f.
Connie: Nora, that's so nice. If grammatically incorrect. But, thou can't just giveth me thine mother's sword.
Nora: Why not - ethhh?
Connie: Because it's important-ethhh.
Both Connie and Nora walk inside the house.
Nora: That's exactly why you should have-ethhh it! You can have all week to practice-ethh withhh it-ethhh.
Connie: *laughs* Thhhhhhhh-ank you!
Nora hands Connie the sword, and Connie holds it.
Nora: We gotta be ready if we have to fight Malachite or Peridot or those creepy gem fusion experiments.
Connie: I'll make sure nothing happens to it.
Connie and Nora hear a garage door opening.
Connie: That's the garage door. Mom's home! We have to hide the sword! There's no way Mom would let me have this in the house.
Nora looks around to see Lion had wondered off.
Nora: Lion? Lion!? He walked off!
Connie: What are we gonna do!?
Dr. Maheswaran walks into the living room and finds Connie and Nora sitting on the couch. Connie is playing with her violin while Nora is sitting anxiously.
Connie: Hi, Mom. Just finished my 6 o'clock violin practice.
Dr. Maheswaran: You should've finished that 5 minutes ago. You're late for your 7 o'clock study hour. *looks at Nora* Hello, Nora.
Nora: *was nervous* Hi, Dr. Maheswaran
Dr. Maheswaran: How are you?
Nora: Sitting!
Dr. Maheswaran: *sighs* I had a rough day at work, and I'm not in the mood for any more surprises.
Connie: What happened at work?
Dr. Maheswaran: *tales off her jacket and hangs it up* There was a really strange case at the hospital today. Straight out of a nightmare... Oh, don't worry, the rules of doctor-patient confidentiality keep me from sharing the graphic details, but.. Hang on a moment. When did we get a coat rack?
She takes her coat off the "coat rack" to reveal it was Nora's mom's sword.
Connie: *groans* Oh, no...
Dr. Maheswaran: A SWORD!? Connie, where did you get this?!
Nora was nervous and was about to answer.
Nora: I..it's
Connie answers her before Nora can finish and lies to her mother.
Connie: I found it! I just... found it outside, and I wanted to show it to Nora.
