This book is a romance story despite the gruesome beginning. In the end, it will become a fluffy romance, that's the point of slow burns. This is all a setup for something I won't specify. If you wanted romance with blood-hungry mythological monsters, blood is what you're gonna get.

THIS IS NOT A YANDERE BOOK. I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A YANDERE BOOK. The love interest is not a yandere and won't ever become one.

Y/N's parents are their own characters. They aren't your real parents they are their characters in the story and you'll see why I mean that. If any of you have a problem with the uniqueness of what they have, you can freely click it off.
You are your own character, with she/they pronounce and female genitalia, and I do not own you(unless you're into that shit). I do not own any art used in this book, and possibly mentioned songs, places, objects, or anything like that.

The Reader's name will be Y/N meaning "Your name". I will not be putting any stuff such as E/C, S/C, H/C, etc. It will all be put as (Eye color), (Skin color), (Hair color), so Reader's don't have to bother learning the Y/N fanfiction language.

This book won't be 100% accurate to the mythological depiction of Wendigos. The creature in question, with pronounce He/them/it and with male genitalia, will only be depicted similarly to a werewolf. What I mean by that, is it will be less cannibalistic and more so innocent and obedient like a submissive puppy to its master. For the sake of this story not turning into a cannibalistic massacre like the folklore put it, we'll keep it that way.

And special thanks to @a_non_ym_ous for inspiring me to write this. They wrote their own Wendigo book called "Heal Me" which I highly advise you to read. It gave me the motivation to write since it was such a cute monster romance.  I realize now after writing it that I kind of copied their first chapter and I apologize for that. This is supposed to be an inspired story, not a copied one. I'm only disappointed their book had no smut in it but I'll probably include it in my own book. It might not be as good as you might think but we've got a long journey to I.

And, honey, remember, sometimes those white glowing dots you see in the sky might not always be stars and fireflies. :)
