[TOKYO, JAPAN, 2017]
You hadn't realized that you fell asleep until the movement of the car stopped. Opening your eyes, you found yourself looking at the entrance of the school through the car's window.
"Wakey wakey~" Satoru sang, opening the car door and stepping out. You followed suit, closing the door and walking to the back to collect your things.
"Should you need anything else, Gojo-San can give you my number," Ijichi spoke, taking out your suitcases and closing the trunk.
"Alright, and thanks again Ijichi," you said, a timid smile of acknowledgment given before he got back into the car and drove off.
"C'mon, time to have you meet the first years," Satoru said, walking into the school with you close behind.

"Thank you!"
You could barely get a word in before being tackled into an embrace by a boy with pink hair, presumably Yuuji. It seemed to be only you and him, as Satoru had gone to pick up two more students.
"Don't worry about it..?" You said, though it sounded more like a question. You rubbed his back before he let go, staring at you with big, hopeful eyes.
"Sorry for tackling you like that, I'm Yuuji!" He chimed with a smile.
A smile that looked so much like Lucas'. You hoped he was okay.
"Its okay," you said, then whispered to him, "I was friends with Gojo when we were students, this was a regular thing for him to do."
Yuuji snickered as Satoru and two other students, a girl with brown hair and a boy with black spikes approached.
"(Y/N), these two are Kugisaki Nobara and Fushiguro Megumi," Satoru said with Yuuji walking over the join the group.
"Nice to meet you both," you said.
"Gojo-Sensei says you can bake, is that true?" The girl, Kugisaki, asked.
"Uh, yeah?"
"Can you teach me?"
"Sure, just let me know when."Kugisaki beamed and nodded, and Fushiguro gave you a curt but polite nod, which you returned.
"Well," Satoru clapped his hands together, "lets get you settled so I can take the kids on their mission. Follow me all!"
You and the kids followed Satoru through the campus and up many staircases to find your dorm, no thanks to Satoru forgetting where it was. Yuuji helped you with your suitcases once he noticed you were tired, something that was not only extremely sweet but was also appreciated a lot by you.
"Okay, this is the one!" Satoru said, using a key to unlock the door to an empty dorm.
"It better be," Fushiguro mumbled. A wave of guilt crashed over you, not only were these kids forced to meet you, it sidetracked them from their mission and they had to walk across the entire campus twice!
"Right, um, Satoru, is their mission important?" You inquired.
"Uh, well, yeah? The curse is low level but-"
"If the curse is low level, then you go deal with it and let them rest. You've made them walk the entire campus twice."
"You are so lame!"Behind a whining Satoru, you could see Fushiguro and Kugisaki let out a sigh of relief whereas Yuuji didn't seem too bothered by either course of action.
"Alright, go to your dorms and rest up, we'll pick this up tomorrow," Satoru ordered, with you waving goodbye to the kids.
"Need any help unpacking?" He asked, leaning against your doorframe as you opened your backpack.
"Oh, no, its just clothes and books and stuff, I'll need help though once I order some furniture," you said, pulling out your phone charger and books you had packed away.
"You sure? Cuz' I invited a certain blondie to come help and I don't want to be the person his anger is directed at," Satoru teased.
"You invited Nanami to come help me unpack?"
"Why not?"
"Its just-"This was the second time you leaving had come up in conversation, but this time, if you continued it would delve too far into the matter.
"Nevermind, I guess I could use some help," you said, and Satoru stood up from the doorframe and walked towards one of your suitcases, opening it.
After thirty minutes that consisted of Satoru trying on your clothes and then leaving them on the floor, two knocks sounded against the open door. Looking up from making your bed, you found Nanami standing at the door.
"Hello, (L/N)-San. Its good to see you again," he said, though unlike Satoru, not a shred of emotion was heard.
"Hi, Nanami-San, you look like you're doing good." You and Nanami then fell into an awkward silence, not really knowing what to say.
"Well, sorry to leave this fun conversation, but I got a curse to deal with. Toodles!" Satoru walked past Nanami and teleported out the building, presumably to where the curse was residing.
"The clothes on the floor were the ones Satoru was trying on, I didn't-leave them there," you chuckled, though anxiously.
"So I assumed."
The two of you fell back into a very crushing silence again, as Nanami put your clothes onto hangers and placed them into the closet and you put your hygiene items in the connected bathroom.
"(L/N)-San?" Nanami asked.
"Yeah?"
"Forgive me if this is intrusive, but...why did you leave? Much more without telling anyone?"You stopped what you were doing to go back to that day.
"I didn't...think I belonged here. I lost everything that made me strong, and it wasn't only traumatic but humiliating."
"Humiliating?"
"I lost everything because I thought I was strong enough to take the curse on by myself. I refused to let Suguru or Satoru help me, no matter how many times they offered to."
A hum was heard from Nanami.
"I'm sorry I left, Nanami." You mumbled.
"I can't say what you did was okay, but I appreciate you telling me why you did it," he sympathized. You heard shuffling and saw him stand at the entrance of the bathroom.
"Though, I am glad you're back," Nanami said, the smallest smile gracing his features. You couldn't help but smile back.
