Christine felt the weeks go by and as she spent more time with the phantom she began to enjoy his company and she was not afraid anymore.
She'd almost forgotten what he looks like. It did not seem to matter anymore. She was going to stay here forever with him and now she had no complaints. Aside from her father she had no one to go back to. She wanted more. Could this be her more?

She looked at him when he did not notice her as he was feeding the fishes on the lake where it was safer to go. One fish jumped and splashed his face with water. Christine chuckled.

There's something sweet and almost kind
But he was mean and cross and now he's dear and so unshore.
I wander why I did'nt see it there before
New and a bit alarming who's had ever thought yet this could be true that he's no Prince Charming but there something in him that U simply did'nt see

The phantom looked back at her and thought to himself that he had never felt something like this before.

She glanced this way I thought so saw and when we touched she did' r shatter at my touch no it can't be I'll just ignore but then she's never looked at me that way before.

He walked up to her, and she took his hand. "I have a question for you".
"What?"
"Would you have dinner with me?"
"Dinner? You me? I mean...YES" she smiled at him flushed. He became hopeful at the same time he felt like a fool. She would never live him. He cared about her more than anything but he was worried that she'd reject him. He knew he had to try and act like a gentleman, starting with eating like one.
