<~The Daycare~> Chapter 2

How they talk
Sun: Hello!
Moon: What are you lookin' at?
Children: Hi Mr. Sun and Moon!

Suns POV:
I woke up with my alarm clock going off "Ughhh, what the-" I stop as I see Moons face, IN MY BED "AHHH" I scream climbing out of bed "Sun whats w-" He stops as he realises he's in my bed "Sun I can explain" "No, do you know what? It doesn't matter. We have to get ready for work" I say walking over to my closet trying to hide my blushing face. I grab my work clothes and turn around to STILL see Moon in my bed "What are you still doing here?" I ask as politely as I can "Oh sorry just, thinking" he says getting up and walking out. "Do you know what? I'm just gonna forget about it" I say to myself as I tie my frills in a knot. I walk out to the balcony and dive down to greet the children.

Moons POV:
I don't know what happened there I just zoned out. Like I was in a dream, dreaming about, Sun. AHHHHH Nevermind it's fine. I'll just, forget about it. Anyway todays my first work day so it should take my mind off it.

Suns POV:
"Children come along now! It's naptime! And today we have a new friend with us to help with naptime!" I call to the children as they come running over "Now we need to be very gentle with them because they're not used to being touched ok? So be careful and quiet" I say to them as I look up at the balcony "Moon! Come down it's naptime!" I call up to the balcony as a tall dark figure with glowing red eyes comes gliding down on the wire. "Hello children, I'm Moondrop but you can call me Moon or Mr. Moon whichever you children would prefer" he says as he lands and the children run over to him "Now children! Remember what I said before! Mr. Moon isn't used to being touched so no climbing, jumping, pulling, pushing or tugging ok?" "Ok!" They say quietly still running over to Moon and stop at his feet "Hello children, and thank you for respecting my boundaries now, I'm afraid it's naptime so you guys come with me over to the naptime corner while Mr. Sun gets the sleeping bags and blankets ok?" He says as the children run over to the naptime corner and some stay because they are too tired. We each picked up the two children that stayed and then Moon said "Hey, what did you mean by no 'climbing, jumping, pulling, pushing or tugging'?" He asks me "Oh, I'm just naming what they can't do because they're used to doing it to me" I say "They do all of that to you?" He asks looking at me upset "No it's fine, I'm used to it anyway" I say to him thinking im making the situation better "Oh Sun," he says taking my hands in his as we each put a child back down "That's not right, you shouldn't be used to that type of stuff" he says still holding my hands "Oh well it's fine, sure I-im a daycare attendant! You have to expect these types of things!" I say blushing *Sun! Why are you blushing?! It's just Moon! He's making sure you're alright that's all! Now stop!* I think to myself taking my hands out of his "Well I have to go get the sleeping bags and such, I'll be back in a moment!" I say walking out the door hiding my face "Well, I'll see you in a few minutes then" he calls after me.

Moons POV:
"Well, I'll see you in a few minutes then" I call after him as he walks out of the door *Why did he start blushing like that?* I think to myself *I did it with the kiddos in the old pizzeria, is it not ok to do it here?* I think. *Oh well, I have to get the kids ready so I'll think about that later* I think pushing it to the back of my mind "Well children, who would like a bedtime story while we wait for Mr. Sun?" I say cheering up "Us! We want one! Come on Mr. Moon! Bedtime story!" They shout back excited "Now remember children, it's naptime. So we have to be quiet ok?" I remind them as they seem forgetful. I sit down in the middle of the tent we have in the naptime corner for naptime and start reading them a bedtime story. As soon as they're all asleep I reattach the wire to my back and start flying around looking down on them all. I see Sun walk back into the daycare with the sleeping bags and blankets for the children so I glide down but decide to surprise him from behind. So as I land I sneak up behind him and hug him "Surprise attack!" I whisper-shout in his ear "AHHHH" he screams as he quickly turns around and knocks me over onto the soft matting on the floor "Haha, Sun the kids are sleeping! And anyway, it was just a little hug. There's nothing wrong with a hug" I say getting back up next to him "m@¥b3 t0 ¥0u" he mumbles something that I can't make out "Pardon?" I ask politely "Oh it's nothing" he says resuming his happy self and skipping off to the kids "Somethings not right" I say to myself and suddenly I feel a pang of something in my stomach that I've never felt before "ah!" I whisper to myself as this new feeling makes me uneasy, and then it was gone. Left as quick as Sun skipped off "Huh, that's weird" I say to myself as I walk back over to the tent. I decide to ignore it as I sit down next to Sun. As soon as I sit down he looks uneasy, and then the weird feeling came back "Hey uh, are you ok?" I ask nervously *Why am I nervous!? It's just Sun!? What's happening?!* I think to myself as I wait for an answer. He goes to answer then stops for a minute and says something else "Actually no, I'm not ok" he says pulling his knees to his chest "Well, what's up?" I ask feeling a bit more comfortable "I don't know what's up, one minute I'm fine and the next-" he cuts himself off "I'm also fine" he says "No, that's not what you were going to say. Come on, tell me. You can trust me" I say pulling him over into my lap. He immediately turns a dark red colour all over his face and looks away "Come on, tell me. I know you want to" I say pulling him in closer so I can see his face "Ahhh, no" he says digging his face into my chest to hide it. Then pulls out immediately once he realises what he just did "I'm so sorry" he says climbing out of my lap "No it's ok, it was just an accident " I say pulling him back in, trying not to get flustered... I'm doing a terrible job.

Suns POV:
*AHHHHHHHHH WHY AM I LIKE THIS?! This isn't normal (scanning) code not found, hm. I'll think about it later* "Are you ok?" I ask "You look a bit flustered" I say looking carefully at his face, admiring it. He pulls me in closer to his chest to hide his own face and I absolutely love the feeling of being close to him. I don't know why, but then i snap back to reality and realise that I'm being practically CRADLED by someone I JUST MET YESTERDAY. I try to get out of his lap and he tightens his grip "Um, Moon may I, get out?" I ask scared at his tight grip on me "Oh yeah, sorry" then he sees his hand gripping my arm tightly "Oh I'm sorry, did I hurt you?" He asks, his voice soft and calming as he loosens his grip on me "No, you didn't hurt me just, surprised me is all" I say as I look at him with a comforting face because he looks a bit upset at what he had done. I put my arms around his neck and hug him "Don't be upset it's ok, it was only an accident" I say leaning my chin on his shoulder. He sits there for a minute not knowing what to do, but then slowly hugs me back "You're not used to hugging are you?" I ask giggling "No, not at all" he says chuckling back "Well you can get used to it! Because I am a very huggish type of person" I say looking at him with my arms still around him. He blushes a light blue colour which causes me to blush as well and we sit there in that position for a while.

Moons POV:
As we sit there I get the sudden urge to, HOLD HIS HAND. Like WHAT?! I just met him, but also I feel comfortable around him. So I decide to ask him, but add a little lie so it doesn't feel as weird asking him "Um Sun?" I ask nervously in case he gets uncomfortable "Yeah?" "Um, I was wondering if I could, hold your hand?" I ask trying to look normal about it or the lie would have no effect "W-what?" He asks blushing a bit "Oh it's just, I did it with the kids in the old pizzeria, is it not ok to do it here?" I ask looking a bit sad at the end for extra effect "Oh, ok" he says a little too eagerly, as I hold his hand in mine. All of a sudden a small child of about 7 comes over to us "What's up little star?" I ask thinking there's something wrong. He looks down at me and Suns hands and says "GAY?!" Sun immediately let's go and starts going red like crazy and I just laugh my ass off.

^Later^

After all the children leave me and Sun are left on our own and Sun gets a bit awkward. "Hey, you ok?" I ask looking over at him carrying the arts and crafts to the storage room "Yeah I'm fine" he says hiding his face behind the arts and crafts he was holding so I couldn't see him "Clearly you're not fine" I say walking over to him and putting the arts and crafts down on the mat. "Come on, tell me what's wrong. And if you say you're fine I know you're lying" I say staring deep into his eyes. He starts looking around for something different to do when he says "Oh shoot! I forgot to charge!" He says as he starts running towards the balcony and collapses as he powers off. I walk over to him and hold him in my arms "Sun, I know there's something wrong. I just wish you trusted me enough to tell me so I can help you" I say knowing that he can't hear me. I pick him up bridal style and fly us up to his room and plug him in. Normally he enters 'sleep mode' which charges him, but because he physically ran out of power he needs to be plugged in. I keep him in my arms until he powers back on "System booting... System booting complete Powering on" his system says as Sun wakes back up "Wha? What happened?" He asks confused "You ran out of power when you were running towards the balcony and powered off. So I brought you up here to charge" after I say this he seems to notice I'm holding him in my arms "wh- uh..." he seems to get flustered immediately and his cooling fans turn on. He tries to climb out of my arms but I tighten my grip tremendously to keep him there "M-Moon p-please let m-me out" he says trying to make eye contact, but turning away as soon as he sees my face "No. You're staying here until you tell me what's wrong with you. You've been acting all weird lately, ESPECIALLY in front of ME. So tell me what's wrong or you're not leaving" I say turning his head towards me forcing him to look me in the eyes. He turns a very dark red colour, but can't turn away because I'm holding his head "SEE?! That's EXACTLY what's wrong! You keep going all red and avoiding me whenever you see me. TELL ME WHATS WRONG" "F-fine. B-but please, d-don't leave w-when you hear" "I promise"
