<~The Meeting~> Chapter 1

How they talk
Sun: Hello!
Moon: What are you lookin' at?
Employees: SHUT UP!
*Thinking*

Suns POV:
*Oh gosh I just LOVE the children!* I thought as I clean up the last of the arts and crafts *Although, they can get a bit rowdy sometimes* I think as I rub the hook attached to my back. Sometimes they like grabbing onto it not knowing it hurts me, but I don't say anything because I don't want to upset the kiddos. I'm humming a little song to myself when I see one of the parts and services workers up in the tower so I call down my wire and fly up to them "Um excuse me? I'm just wondering what you're doing up here? It's against the rules for any workers to be up here unless it's for something extremely important" I say as I land on the balcony "Well it is something important so go back to cleaning and stay away from me" he says to me "Well that's very rude! And as a matter of fact, I've finished cleaning so I am allowed up here!" I say trying to walk by him "No you're not allowed in yet I have to show you something that management sent" *What could management have for me?* I thought to myself as I followed the worker to a spare room we had in my tower. We had, had it there for a while now but no one used it or went in it. But for the past few weeks it had been under construction and no one would tell me why, until now. We walked into the room and it was painted a dark blue colour with glow in the dark stars on the roof and walls. It had a crescent moon bedsheet on the bed lots of moon related things *Weird* I thought because I am the sun, not the moon. The complete opposite of me. We stop once we get through the door and I see a big box standing in the middle of the room. "Go on, open it already" the worker says as he pushes me towards the box. I slowly open it to find another animatronic the exact opposite of me. His colour palette was dark blue and white, he had a crescent moon face plate like me and had a hat. A pair of star pants and slippers like mine. "His name is Moon, he's going to be your new co-worker and help with naptimes so you have time to recharge for the next playtime" the worker says looking at a clip board he has "He has other functions but you can find them out yourself" he says walking away and out of the tower. I stand there not knowing what to do "Well maybe I should turn them on?" I say to myself reaching for their power button and flip it on. It's silent for a few minutes but then he powers on and starts moving "Uh, what? Where-" he stops when he sees me "Who are you" he asks scanning me down.

Moons POV:
All of a sudden I turn on and am confused to where I am "Uh, what? Where-" I stop as I see another animatronic standing in front of me "Who are you?" I ask scanning them down. They were a gold and yellow painted animatronic with sun rays and striped pants "Uh, I'm Sun and you're going to be my new co-worker in the daycare" he says staying calm as to not startle me. It was very clear he didn't normally act like this though "Ok um, well I'm Moon" I say looking him up and down, then he loses it "Oh we're going to be the best of friends I just know it!" He says jumping up and down hugging me. I flinch at the sudden touch and he pulls back "Oh, do you not like hugs?" He looks a bit upset at himself "No,no it's just I'm not used to being touched is all" I say looking at him and giving him a soft smile "Oh ok!" He says turning around, now happy again "Well, im gonna leave to give you time to settle in and get used to the place" he says as he heads out the door. Now you might think I was just built but im not. I've been at a different pizzeria working for different people and something else but that's not the point. I had to be moved here because of a certain thing that happened but it's better for me because I know some of the animatronics here and would trust them with my life. Well anyways that's too serious for when me and this Sun animatronic just met. So I get out of the box and look around my new room. I walk over to the closet and look through it "Hm, my clothes mustn't have arrived yet" I say seeing nothing in the closet "Yet everything less important is here" I say a bit annoyed but push it to the back of my mind. Well I would sleep a bit but I'm fully charged so I don't have anything really to do. So I walk over to Suns room and as I'm about to knock on the door I hear singing "🎵Cause I feel better when I'm dancing yeah, yeah. Better when I'm dancing yeah, yeah🎶" (Song is called 'Better when I'm dancing by Meghan Trainor) I stand there listening but accidentally hit my head off the door "Hello? Is someone there?" Sun calls through the door "Yeah, it's me Moon. Can I come in?" I ask standing at the door "Y-yeah of c-course" he calls back through the door sounding a bit embarrassed at me hearing him sing. "You have a great singing voice" I say to him as I walk through the door "Th-thanks I guess" he says going red from embarrassment "It's nothing to be embarrassed about" I say walking over to the bed and sitting down "I-I know it's just, I don't like singing in front of people" he admits to me as he tidys a few things on his desk "Stage fright?" I ask softly "Yeah" he says sounding a little sad "It's ok, I have stage fright too when I'm singing" I say trying to comfort him "Wait, you can sing?!" He asks excitedly spinning around to face me "Wait, remember what I said about stage fright?" "Oh, yeah" he says sounding even more sad then before "<sigh> Fine, I'll sing for you. Only if you don't tell anyone ok?" I say to him. Immediately his face lights up "YES, YES, YES! I WONT TELL ANYONE I PROMISE" he squeals sitting down beside me "Pinky promise?" "PINKY PROMISE" he says hooking his pinky through mine "Now you have to be quiet or I'll stop, ok?" "Ok" he whispers to me already being quiet. (Btw he's singing 'Rises the Moon Maruwat cover, I think that's how you spell Maruwat) As I sing he starts getting tired and leans against me for support. Eventually he falls asleep so I have to hold him in my arms. I thought of putting him to bed but if I leave then he'll wake up because he's leaning against me. So I lay down in his bed and pull the covers up over us. He immediately puts his hands against my chest and snuggles in, which at first I think is a bit weird considering we just met but I don't mind. Eventually I finish the song and fall asleep with him.
