ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴇxᴛ ᴍᴏʀɴɪɴɢThe next day comes rather quickly, everyone packing supplies, or making sure they have the necessary supplies. Food, weapons and ammunition, first aid supplies, whatever they can scrounge up.
There are parts of the building that have never been touched, not since before the world was scorched by the sun flares.
"Leo, what's in that room?"
"I don't know actually, we've never been in there."
"Why not?"
"Never had a reason to."
What d'ya say we check it out?"
"Screw it, why not?"
Leo and Izzy make their way towards the closed door, not very hopeful of what they could find, but not entirely devasted in this process.
Leo pushes the door open, and the sight that meets them is somewhat depressing, the room is filled with boxes on boxes.
"That's sort of disappointing."
Izzy gives Leo a strange look, they don't even know what's in any of the boxes.
"C'mon, let's at least look through some boxes first."
"Alright."
They both head towards boxes, and start digging through them. They find multitudes of canned food, even pop tarts.
"This one has a bunch of comic books in it."
"Oh, cool!"
"No way! There's a special edition of hitgirl in here!"
"You're shitting me."
"Leo, look."
"Holy crap. I haven't seen one of those since before all this."
"I know, me neither."
A hour passes while they read it, arguing over who gets to hold the comic book at what points in the story.
Unfortunately, these ultimately results in the comic being ripped.
"Man, this sucks."
"Yeah, it's a shame that you wrecked it."
"Wha- Me? I didn't do anything!"
"You yanked it out of my hands, Leo!"
"It's not my fault you were hogging it!"
"It was my turn!"
"No, it wasn't!"
"Yes, it was! You were holding it right before!"
"Wait- Oh."
"Yeah."
"Oops. My bad."
"Anyways."
