Joey : back at it

I was wrong to say I ever loved him because he broke me and shattered my heart into pieces. Looking at him sitting in a boot with a pretty brunette by his side. I can't even believe that I wasted half a year on this guy and he cheated on me whit three girls while we were together. Brace yourself Joe her goes the perfect record of avoiding him all summer, I walk to their table to take the order.

''Welcome to Nancy's what can I get you this evening?'' Billy goes white when he sees me, but I don't give him another glance and just look at the girl. Like he doesn't know I work here I swear this guy.

''I'll have a tuna salad.'' She says looks at Billy and waits for his order, but I guess he's too shocked to talk. God I can't believe I'll need to spend one more year looking at this clowns face. ''Babe, what are you having?'' Amy or whatever her name is looks at him.

"Um ja I'll have a cheeseburger with a side of fries and a coke."

"Oh and a diet coke for me." The brunette barbie adds

"Coming right up." I say and walk to the counter

"Isn't that Josephine Brookes, didn't you two like date last year?" I hear the brunette asks Billy as I walk away.

I put the order in and stand behind the counter since is a slow night. When Billy and I started seeing each other I was the shy girl in our year, but then he walked into me one day at the store and we started talking. He was sweet and nice to me, gave me the attention I needed because I had this missing piece in me that came with never knowing your father. He was there for me, he left me  sweet notes in my locker and slow danced with me in the rain, he even bought my mother flowers whenever we went on a date. He was the perfect boyfriend, until he wasn't that perfect any more. We broke up right before the summer started, right after I found out he cheated on me, on spring break, and two times more after that. I was heartbroken for about a the first month of summer vacation but then my mom put an end too it and dragged me out of my dark depressing little bubble. I got back up and started to move on and promised my self to be more careful who I let into my life.

I stayed away from Billies crowd all summer so I wouldn't run into him even though one of his friends Amelia tried to get me to hang out with them. They were the cool kids since the "ELITE" as I like to call them and their group all decided to go study abroad to some preppy school in Swis Alps for their year abroad. Honestly I did't miss the "ELITE" they ruled our high school and bullied everybody including me since I was the scholarship student and they were bunch of rich pricks. As for our hockey team I can not say the same, since they ranked fifth in the playoffs and that was like the worst result in the last five years. Billy was on the team and became the captain since our three best players Zach, Mason and Liam transferred. 

Zach was the king of the school his family was one of the richest family in our city. He was also one of the biggest players I know, pretty sure he screwed most of the girls in school, never dated and was very cold to every one but Liam and Mason his two best friends also very rich. Liam I remember as the joker of the three of them most easy going but still brutal. Mason he was usually quiet didn't care for much except for one of my two friends Emily and when I say care they had this unusual goers that they gave each other.

All of them were friends with Billy but that was only on the outside to keep the peace on the team, basically they played nice for the teams sake. When they left, there became a new hierarchy where Billy was the king. at least Billies reign is coming to an end since the Elite are coming back this year for our final year of high school. I personally hate those rich fuckers but they are the only ones that can put Billy back into his place and I really want to see his down fall even if that makes me a bad person.
